  1. It's not too bad. To compare with a similar pneumatic air pistol then I'd say that the lever requires about half the effort. There's really very little effort required but you (hopefully) tend to take it easy cos you don't want to slam the lever back into place too hard after cocking the gun. *EDIT* FWIW, I dunno how but the end part of my review seems to have got chopped off when I edited it to include pictures. More pictures will be added later and I'll paste in the last couple of paragraphs again. Very odd.
  2. I chrono'd mine and is fired at 96.7m/sec, 96.7m/sec, 96.7m/sec, 96.7m/sec... You get the idea. Pumping it more than once doesn't achieve anything since all you're doing is compressing the air, decompressing it and then compressing it again.
  3. Well P-362 Airsoft Target Pistol There comes a time in everybodies airsofting career when they begin to get a little jaded. They start to feel that there’s nothing new under the sun. You’ve seen one AEG, you’ve seen ‘em all. You try to tell yourself this isn’t the case and that it really IS worth buying that new M4 ‘cos the stock is slightly different and they’ve redesigned the outer barrel and RIS for the umpteenth time. At this point most airsofters tend to suffer something of a “mid life crisis”. Some become geardos, some dump all their expensive kit in preference for a c
  4. When I make a post I notice it says I've used "3.69mb of 2mb" attachments space. What's going on there? I HAVE attached a couple of documents to various threads but I'm sure the attachment limit used to be 5mb. Has that been reduced, thus leaving me over the odds?
  5. You should probably throw a bucket of water over them before they produce baby MSCAR249s Sorry. Couldn't resist. Just noticed the stuff about black mags. I've seen a variety of pic's of soldiers with SCARs and I notice a lot of them seem to have black mags that're roughly painted in tan on the exposed portion of the mag. Rather than buying tan mags it seems it's cheaper to copy the professionals and just slop a bit of paint on the bottom half of your black mags.
  6. The 2 close-up pictures of the slide told me all I need to know about this.
  7. You realise that KWA Glocks DO have a working trigger safety everywhere else on the planet, right? It's a bit unfair to say "This has a trigger-safety, unlike a KWA" when, if you'd bought a KWA Glock from HK it would have had a trigger-safety too. Also, what IS the gun? GBB, AEP, springer, what? Your review is a bit thin on details.
  8. Dunno what all the fuss is over the spacer to work with a 16 tooth piston. Get a screw for the piston head 10mm longer than standard and fit a bunch of washers on it. Failing that, a TM piston weight is exactly the right length. Use a bit of initiative rather than waiting for a solution to be handed to you on a plate. Geez!
  9. You have the same IP as a known scammer on other forums.

You are selling the same items you are accused of stealing on another forum.

I'd advise everybody to avoid trading with this person until the matter is resolved.

  10. I have a 4000mah 9.6v battery slotted tidily into the boxmag and a neat wire running out of the boxmag into the foregrip with a mini-connector on the end to hook up to the stock battery connector. A 2000mah nun-chuck pack will fit in the foregrip but, IMO, if you're using the gun in a support role then you want to fit the biggest battery you can get which means stuffing one in the boxmag.
  11. Well, I'm off to a local mountain-bike shop tomorrow. They sell lotsa tiny BBs so I should find what I need.
  12. I am doubtful that replacing the stock hop-up nub with ANY aftermarket one will be a useful upgrade, particularly a soft one. Thing is, as you'll know if you've examined the gun, the hop-up nub goes in end-on. The adjuster wheel presses down on the nub as it rotates. A softer nub is probably just going to flex as you turn the dial to the left or right and could even get wedged in the adjuster dial. Ideally, I'd suggest finding a ball-bearing about 2mm diameter and fitting it on top of the nub so it doesn't distort when yo adjust the dial. See sketch below. Having said that, once
  13. Actually, it occurs to me that what I said only applies to versions of the M249 with the para length barrel. The barrel of the other versions is long enough that it sticks out in front of the gas regulator. So yeah, you'll be able to stick a Noveske f/h on a Mk1 or Mk2 M249. As long as you use one with a CCW thread. FWIW, I got a chinese Noveske knock-off and it makes my M4 sound loud as hell and it came with a pair of dinky threaded sleeves that allow it to be used on CW or CCW muzzles.
  14. Actually, it's just occured to me that the problem might be that the nozzle in the hop-up is slightly too wide (or long) to hook into the nozzle at the top of the mag. If this is the case then filing a bit off the M249 feed nozzle might be all it takes to sort it out. I shall have a proper look at this tomorrow. Maybe. I doubt you'll succeed in finding any 14mm clockwise flash hider to fit the M249, given that it has a COUNTER CLOCKWISE thread on the end of the outer barrel. Be warned that there's only about 5mm gap between the stock flash hider and the gas regulator. T
  15. Not neccesarily. Ive found that the M249 is very picky about what M16 mags work with it. I have nearly a dozen M16 hicaps and I think there's only 2 of them that'll work with the M249. There's a couple more that feel like they nearly work and would just need a bit of work to get them sorted. I have something like 20-odd midcaps and lowcaps and NONE of them fit into the M249! They will locate into the magwell and feed OK but they don't lock in place. I suspect that all that needs doing is to shave a tiny bit off one edge of the latch that locks the mags in place but I haven't re
  16. Indeed. Must admit, that was the limit of my technical appraisal. When I first installed IE7, a few months ago, I just decided that tabbed browsing bugs me and I missed the icons that were now hidden as the interface was dumbed-down. However, the missus just saw a message telling her to install updates and she clicked "OK". After seeing IE7 on the living-room PC I figured (as you did) that I should get with the programme and upgrade all my PCs. S'funny cos I would never have had a word said against IE6. For me it was fine. There are some things I don't like about Firefox.
  17. Fair comment. TBH, I've always used IE for net surfing simply out of familiarity. However, after installing IE7 and finding something on Arnies caused it to freeze every 20 minutes or so, I've swapped to Firefox and I've had no more problems. Go me! However... Somebody who finds themselves at Arnies after googling "airsoft" (as we all did, I imagine) probably won't stick around long if they find the page they're trying to read freezes every few minutes, are they? Simply saying "shoulda used Firefox instead" doesn't really address that problem, does it?
  18. You are spamming the trade threads, offering your guns for trade, in an unacceptable manner. STOP IT.

  19. I disagree. Currently I'm running Win XP with IE7 and I never suffer any other problems when using the computer. Besides, swapping to Firefox doesn't really address the issue of what is making Arnies unstable in IE7. You can't really expect everybody who visits the site to install Firefox first, can you?
  20. Hi, Dunno what to tell you really. I'd been using IE6 with no problems at all but recently the missus allowed an automatic update to install IE7 on one of my PCs so, to keep things standard, I also installed it on my other PC and my laptop. Since then I've noticed Arnies website and forums to become pretty unstable on all 3 computers. Basically, what happens is that every so often the page will refresh, the little green progress bar gradually fills up, the page loads and then just freezes. None of the IE controls work and the screen is totally frozen with an egg-timer icon showi
  21. Excellent advice and you obviously took the trouble to investigate what the problem was. Many thanks. Much appresiated.

  22. Geez, you know, if you stopped putting so much effort into whining and arguing and, instead, channeled that energy into actually achieveing something you'd probably be a playboy millionaire genius by now. Here's two suggestions for you:- 1) If no photographer is available, take turns. 2) Don't post in this thread if you don't have suitable pictures. Two wild and crazy suggestions that are off-the-wall and outside-the-box but MIGHT JUST WORK if you apply yourself with the same level of dedication that you apply to "sticking it to da man".
