you forgot the extra cost on broken down parts on the g&p/vfc gbbr's.

I have mine since yesterday. And for a GBBR it packs a punch. Range is ridiculous. But in overhop. even with .25gr an the unit completely open. I am going to have to work around that. he mag spring is indeed quite stiff. Overall it is much smaller and thinner than you would think. the polymers are top notch. thanks. It a great piece of material, when you blow it with a hair-dryer it really becomes soft and stretchy. I have to say though using it on the stock was very hard, to much detail. But the upper receiver lends itself perfectly, because of the continuous waving motion. I have some JG G36 upper bodies lying around, will try on those as well.

The gearbox doesn't crack any easier than another shell. They are not made for 500FPS after all. the microswitch is not horrible, just don't use batteries with ridiculous power. 7.4v 15c is more than enough. Change it when they break, again most part break due to the use of a too powerful battery. Do install a WII tech hop up unit. don't know about the SV versions. but I believe that hop up unit is still the same in function. for a mere 125€ (including shipping you can get a CNC gearbox from Aztec airsoft.

Hard? not really. take a deepfire of Guarder, goes for any AEG type.

I modified my UAR. used a piece of plastic of the UAR. superglued it. You know, one of those "vents". Magpul PTS mids feed fine now. Pmag, Emag and the short Pmags. the original mags still fit, yet much tighter. ATTENTION: It may not be the right solution for every magazine or every person. So I, by no means, can be held responsible if it doesn't work.

true, but the ARES externals are rock solid. my advice, get a second hand one, and then improve the internals. or buy this UAR and be dazzled by it's performance, despite being made in china.

sorry but no, that is not the problem. If you use a mid cap and push it from behind slightly, it will feed. removing the black button won't change a thing either. placing some fine plastic in the back of the magwell might do the trick as well. I am toying with the idea of glueing an o-ring on the feeding tube.

Well it works delicious. I don't think the feeding tube in the magwell is too large, rather it's too short. I am looking into improving it.

I already have one here. It's very cheap. not the best rail, but for that money it's a bargain. The stock adapter however is a PITA to install. Managed to get it on a 2nd hand Dboys after dremeling a lot. Won't install that rail though, I have different plans for this Chinese Scar.

Has anyone tried this? I have it at home, but no SCAR. Rumour has it, it won't fit a WE GBBR SCAR. Would it fit a G&G?

Just to say, but who cares about FPS when buying a TM? You sound like a noob. The range and accuracy of the TM Sopmod OTB is something to be reckoned with. I compared the ARMY version myself and for 60fps more, it surely did not show in the tests. It was almost on par in range, but it's accuracy was simply poor. So yes TM's magical pixie dust does the trick. I tested the CTW this weekend and I must say I was mighty impressed by it. It shot like a PTW but with a very good hop up unit OTB. Don't know how long it will stay in one piece though.
