  1. I see. No clue then :).

Give a shout if you decided to make one yourself?

Ps, how's your collection? I remember you being a huge HK fan?

I will let you know, But right now I am working on a couple a handguards and mag releases.

I still have a couple HK airsoft guns, but most pistols and AEG's are gone.

    I do have a TM MP7A1, HK45 and USPc though. :D

  2. I'm guessing ASG itself.

Not sure, but aren't CZ models OEM'd by KJWorks?

I know all of that, my model is an A+ version (different bucking). don't remember where I got it from.

But maybe some one here might know a place where you can have a better than original part. otherwise I might just make it myself (wouldn't be the first time).

  3. First of that is a very nice review you made.

My hat off to you sir!

But regarding the need of a HT motor for an ASCU, is there any basis for it?

In essence a HT motor is meant to deliver the power needed to pull heavy springs, combined with the proper gear ratio.

Or is that the ASCU let's power through too easy, and thus relying on the heavy magnets to stop faster?

I have seen quite a few people in the past who had blown lipo batteries because the ASCU kept on using quite some battery power even when not engaged.

Even one case where the motor, which was a Guarder hispeed, sometimes started on itself. But that was years ago.

It is a given to always disconnect your battery after use for safety and prevention of drainage.

I am by no means an expert on ASCU's, I personally like the BTC and Gates.

But if it work, it works.

  4. I just gotten mine. It shoots pretty snappy with good range dispite it's size.

Definitely going to install a Detonator slide and see if it needs any changes with the springs.

I did the same with my HK45, which is a great all rounder.

Detonator is not cheap but very strong and light.

  5. hahahahah yea but they actually make decent stuff!

Especially their flip to side magnifier is nice, that review is to come soon!

It is pretty decent yes. But they don't make anything.

It's just rebrand, like swissarms (cyberfail), WE (their optics), milspex, etc... .

For the Europeans, the store is really good, go check it out.

  6. Yeah... they currently have 3 female CS, and one is an airsofter... coming up to 1 year employed.

At least they seem content for now and not planning on leaving atm. (although... wait till march... lol)

Couple other minor discount issues laterly, but the CS seems to be on the ball and correcting issues fairly quickly.

Just keep in mind you wont get a reply out side of 9 to 6pm HK time... or on weekends and holidays.

I know I have been doing internet purchases for about a decade now. so that's easily 300+ orders.

It also helps to have a professional career that is mainly about purchasing & sourcing.

They refunded me de missing discount yesterday already.

So this case was handled very professionally.

  7. just placed an order for 5.11 because of 5.11 days you get 20% off. ordered for 339.99usd naturally the discount should be 67,99usd.

There are no off-sale items on my list so I am not combining different offers.

    discount received? 45,99usd.

Someone made a mistake there. It happens I guess.

I let them know in my order (the additional info block)

I will await their feed back and publish my experience with their customer service here.

  8. I will be having the BE version sometime next week, got a contact who has one new in the box.. It was too cheap to pass up, plus I want to build a long version. :D

the shorty here will be getting a MFT minimalistic stock. And the ICS stock will be for my G33Kurz.

  9. I looked and couldn't find a Picture Thread dedicated to these type of replica's. Granted there aren't many models.

Still think it's worth a thread.

Most famous one is definitly the Type 89 by Marui.

And here is my actual one.

    2a7h9jp.jpg

Rear wired with mosfet, with plenty of Laylax parts & accessories (including the Tritium front sight).

In all honesty this RIF is quite the solid one, and I do not use the word solid lightly.

It deserves much more credit than it gets. Sure it's not cheap (get the BE version then) but that is invalid, because, burst!

  10. that is indeed one of the new series.

Palm grip is good but needs to be modded slightly to fit on a 74 receiver it seems. Or at least on the cyma's.

I also cut off a piece of the lever on the outside of the gearbox. I couldn't get it into safe otherwise.

  11. Definitely didn't feel any different than shiny ABS to me. I used to have one of the old GWS xm8 kits from years back and it just reminded me of it, hence why I never took the plunge for the SRC one.

Could very well just be how its constructed but it didn't give me the same impression of rigidity that G36's and tavor's did.

Not trying to disprove anymore, simply sharing my own experiences.

You probably had a version 1 or 2 xm8. I have V3 and a GWS kit. the difference is immense.

  12. It went off without a hitch. no glu.

I removed it before once. you can see previous pics of it in ths topic sprayed in english green.

remove both screws, push button in and pride the handguard over the button.
