You must remove the normal set screw in between the sling mount and then remove your inner barrel from the upper receiver. Exactly. They're made for european Nato countries running g36's with stanag conversions, 416's and basically any other gun running stanag mags that have odd magwells.

Do you have some sort of agenda against this platform? Seriously, so far only ONE gun in this thread has failed, mine. The other failures that have been reported have ALL occurred on upgraded guns. The issue with the battery is impossible to diagnose because we do not know what the end user did to the battery prior to attempting to use it. All 15 batteries ive had my hands on worked fine. The real pmags dont fit very well on a real 416 due to the magwell dimensions. Same can be said for the scar in both its real format and airsoft variant.

The rail on all of the sopmods that i have handled was rather solid for an out of the box airsoft gun. The barrels have also all been ROCK solid. I would look into replacing the TM delta ring with a real deal unit to increase tension on the rail. That should solve any minor play you might be experiencing. Im really glad you believe this will be a good training aid for force on force training. Magpul did not say they had no plans for other length handguards.

Midlength is probably next but there's no official information on that.

The new generation king arms receivers are using roll pin mounted bolt catches. I do not know anyone that has them in stock.

Azn, king arms are pin mounted. I dont believe any others are. Some obscure chinese receivers might be but as far as high quality kit goes, only King Arms.

My sopmod has failed unfortunately. Tappet plate snappled in half and the nozzle broke where the tappet meets it on the cylinder head. I was running at stock power levels. Im not sure if this was because of a jam of parts failure but ill tell you right now, with reinforced polycarb parts this wont happen. The stock plastic is just way too brittle. I wonder of Marui did any kind of durability testing on the system. So far my sopmod is the first ive heard of in my extremely limited universe that has broken in stock configuration. Im a little confused as to why you people seem so interested in redimags all of a sudden? They are hardly useful for airsoft purposes since we have to retain our magazines during a reload. The redimag shines with firearms because it allows the user to have a fresh source literally an inch away from their magwell. The manual of arms for an airsoft gun is slightly different from the real thing and either way your reaction hand is going to have to go to the dump pouch at some point, redimag or not. 6mm bearings? Why that choice my friend? Ive never been a fan of 6mm bearings in any application and i find that to be particularly scary in a system that seems to have more load on it than a conventional AEG.
