  1. The GHK magazines aren't the same construction as WA-type magazines, they do not need the O-rings (they won't fit anyway)
  2. The battery connections are so weak that they disconnect on the slightest recoil. I've put short springs under my batteries and now it stays on, like it should (both on my WOC & WE)!

    AGM M4 GBB

There is no reason to try so. It will not work! EDIT: Special delivery: I'm sorry to smash your dream.
  4. Here is the pin, I just ordered one too: http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=2277 "WP101"

    AGM M4 GBB

There is now! $16.00 at PX... Fair price! @colazel: If I remember correctly, the bolt rubber is what the charging handle hits when it is completely forward.
  6. Perhaps a stupid question but: have you tried using another brand of BBs?
  7. Stunning looking 1911 Tomster! Have you had any trouble fitting the PGC kit?
  8. Great review Luis! I definitely need one of these to put in my WOC (that still has to arrive ) It will probably say "hello" to my CNC mill though...
  9. I have used thick & sticky silicone grease... seems to work fine as well...
  10. How do the ARMY mags hold up? Are they any good? Or should I save money in the long haul and buy TM magazines?
  11. The more I see the Warrior, the more I like it. Only bad thing is that it seems to be sold out just about everywhere! It is a real shame that they did not replica the RS Kimber Desert Warrior frame, which would have been a really big plus.
  12. My part 66 (thing that makes the firing pin retract) broke of (just like everyone else) after about 2 full days of skirmishing. I milled a replacement, yet reinforced version, of the part. So far, it seems to work great, and I don't think it's going to fail anytime soon. I know there is a replacement (and reinforced) part available, but I'd rather put my money on milled steel than cast iron..
  13. @Genome: yes, my hop-up adjustment works fine. I would open up the hop-up assembly and figure out if there is something misplaced or faulty. @NVC: You should try the sound indoor.. Pistols sound great, but if you fire this puppy, everybody will just be scared! The only disadvantage I have with the SCAR at this moment is that most of the times, half my mags are empty before the game starts, before my teammates want to fire the thing... Oh, and next to that, you'd probably never want to use an AEG again
  14. No, you can screw of the nozzle (beware: it can be fixed very hard with loctite) of the guiding rod and remove it. And indeed, the installation should be pretty straight-forward... if only RA-Tech would ship mine I've got mine down to 300-330fps with .2gr. With .25gr, I had to dial in my hop-up quite a bit, so I am hoping that the hop will function fine with .2gr too. I have used my SCAR on 2 CQB skirms, in the first, the SCAR was spitting BB's 5m after about 10 mags. After adjusting my "FPS reducer", the SCAR shot every BB without a problem. I hope that the NPAS from RA-
  15. @cis_destiny: you are wrong. I've tried putting a nut and a counter-nut on the thread, but it kept getting loose by the shocks the nozzle gets from each shot. Loctite is pretty useless, as it makes the system not adjustable. Because I go playing tomorrow, and haven't received my NPAS yet, I am using a fixed-length tube to get it down to 340fps. However, this is quite unstable, and sometime causes the FPS to drop to <150fps. I don't know if you have tried, but the margin for regulating the nozzle is very small. Decreasing the tube length by only 0.1mm can increase the FPS by 30fps!!!
  16. Decrease. I've 'ordered' mine the day it was released, and paid it right after I got the shipping cost quotation.. haven't heard a word of them since then...
  17. The only problem is that, even if I turn it on as much as I can, it still hits 480fps (.20, GG) I tried to put 2 nuts (M3 size) on the thread, so the valve closes a bit more, but the recoil shoots them loose after a few shots. Either locktite-ing those nuts (that prevents it from being easily adjustable too), locking tighter (I should try...) OR putting a fixed-length tube (see WE M4 thread) inside the nozzle will decrease the FPS.
  18. Does anyone know the size of part #045 ("Valve Part E", the biggest of the 2 O-rings on the nozzle)? I'm guessing it's 10x1 or 11x1mm?
  19. So Monkeyboy, would you advise this replica? Would a retailer like WGC/Redwolf/UNCompany give the same type (or any) support like Evike does?
  20. I heard it is a bit lighter...
  21. I've read through all pages, as I want to buy a WA-based GBBr. Would owners confirm the following points as 'issues' for the WOC? - Wobble between upper & lower, amount differs from replica to replica - Bolt carrier wears down, causing the bolt stop not to function - Plastic nozzle can break, for skirmishing best to replace with RA-Tech NPAS bolt anyway. Anything else needs attention/replacement in the future? Or is the WOC, except for these points, skirmish worthy?

    KJW M4

No, I am not. I am setting a goal for what all GBB should achieve out-of-the-box. Yes indeed, we all know WE, WA, G&P and AGM have light to severe problems, that is the reason why I still haven't bought one (though the funds are available). I am looking for a platform that will only require minor fixes ($15 bolt catch, $0.02 O-ring) every year rather than every skirm! If the KJW platform can deliver, hell, I'm buying one. But based on one review (no offense at all Donut!!), I find it very hard to judge whether this platform is capable of doing just that or not. It does look li

    KJW M4

Reliable platform? The KJW hasn't showed us this yet! The only way I can see this new platform to succeed is to show it is skirmish worthy a.k.a no failures before 10k rounds shot...

    AGM M4 GBB

I haven't received my AGM yet, but wouldn't it be possible to modificate/fabricate the lip that engages the bolt catch for it to work?
