  1. Hi all. I haven't posted on this site for ages... and boy how things have changed for the better. Kudos to Arnie. My best attempt at a hitman's tools of the trade impression. The pistol is sanitized - no trademarks, the serial number filed off, and the grip taped. My battle-tested G3SG/1. This is one of those rare moments (besides when she first came to me) in which she's completely clean. You see, this picture was taken right after a touch-up with paint and a thorough cleaning. I hope you like them.
  2. Ah. Damn. I forgot. Sorry. The TM G3SG/1 is credited with having an extremely robust and effective HOP-up system. Does the CA G3 line reflect this? If the CA G3A4 is reliable, consistant, and accurate, I would buy one. My existing G3SG/1 could take care of the long-range work, while the G3A4 would be used for CQB without sacrificing anything other than battery capacity. One more thing - I've heard that CA's foregrip wiring isn't as tidy as TM's. Is this true? If so, does it affect reliability? The last thing I want is to rush into a room of angry hostiles, raise my rifle, and have it
  3. I'm tore between buying a CA G3A3 or CA AUG A1 for my next rifle. I already own a G3SG/1 - a custom job using the TM model as basis with various internal and external enhancements. If I buy the G3A3, I would be able to share magazines/batteries/parts with my other G3. However, I have reservations about buying a CA model fresh to the market - I've heard that first-batch CA guns are always plagued by internal problems. Is my fear unfounded? Also, the trademarks on the G3A3... are they engraved or are they simply painted on? If the former is true, are there any kind of paint that could eliminate

  5. It's a stock KWA USP .45 with minor cosmetic modifications. I call it the "Hitman's workhorse." It's a sanitized weapon - no manufacturer markings aside from a serial number (which has been filed off). The grip is taped to prevent leaving incriminating fingerprints.

  7. Sweet! I assume that you milled that muzzle brake out of a solid hunk of metal? There is a M82-style muzzle brake for the PSG-1 on sale at Redwolf though. Maybe you could have just modified it to fit? Nevertheless, slap in a magazine and you are good to go!
  8. You can get wood kits (as well as the original G3A3 slim type foregrip) for under $12 at CheaperThanDirt!. I want a wood kit too, but Cummunfornia law doesn't allow any importations of such kits.... Anything that includes a stock and pistol grip is a no go.
  9. Airsoft Extreme carries two versions of the FN FNC and each one is $535. As for myself, I have Val Kilmer's G3.... I wish Marui made an UMP or G36K... I would buy them as soon as they came out. That or the Chinese Norinco Type 95.
  10. Sweet gun there! May I ask how you accomplished such a feat? I can see the G&G MSG-90 stock, but where did you find the outer barrel assembly, the foregrip, and the upper receiver? I'm especially interested in the upper receiver, since it has structural reinforcement in place of the sliding stock grooves found on G3s.
  11. My stock TM G3SG/1 is being fitted with a CA MBK right now (cocking tube set and receiver), I'm getting it back tomorrow. Paul at Airsoft Extreme stripped the gun down and gave it a thorough inspection. He fixed the HOP-up, cleaned the inner barrel, installed the MBK, put everything back together, and tested the gun. Everything cost me $243 plus Californian tax and labor. A pretty good deal, I think. dyers, your hostage looks a little... deflated. And whats with the exposed chest? Indecent exposure! I demand that picture to be censored! Just kidding. The CA SAR Taktik is externally i
