Ok, finally got around to editing a pic I got the memsahib to take when we were on a tropical island called Redang in Malaysia, hence the dodgy sunburn...
As mentioned on the first page of this thread, it is a work in progress as the artist left the country after finishing the outline (15 hours or so) so still looking for someone to colour it, and maybe add a second intertwined dragon. Head is on my chest. btw.

A couple? A couple...? I've only had the outline done so far (my tattooist left the country just after so I'm looking out for someone on the same level to finish) and that cost waaay more than a couple of AEGs. Lifetime investment though..
I'll try to get a couple of pics done next weekend.

I has a new set of wheels...
Choice was between a black Merc 500SL of 96 vintage, a black 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera, and a 1998 black BMW 328 Convertible. I chose the sensible option and got the Beemer. And very nice it is too.. 80k miles and full BMW service history and all the extras as it was originally a BMW demonstrator model. One button and the hood and windows drop and one to raise them all again which is rather nice..
Spent the weekend polishing it up and adding a few extras to modernise it a bit, then fitted my USB stereo. The USB cable runs into the ashtray and I have 3x4GB USB pen drives in there with all my music on, as in all my other vehicles.
I bought it in London from an Arsenal football fan who had a personal plate on it reading A GOONER (A 'gooner' being an Arsenal fan/player) which didn't come with the car. Trouble is, the new plates hadn't been sorted in time so I had to drive it home from London with technically the wrong plates...
Made it though without going near any of our lovely cameras... 
Fitted new plates to it with it's original numbers. Car is a gem and with 200bhp is good for nearly 150mph in it's standard form and get's to 60 in 6.5-7 seconds yet still returns 35mpg in my normal driving. Not bad... defnitely a bit of a cruiser though compared to the slower MX5- the 5 feels a lot sportier and the BM doesn't make me want to throw it around. Before:

Bloody Chinese copy everything! Here is their very rare PLA T02 flecktarn uniform. Their brown Fleck is well known as their Tibetan uniform, but for a very brief spell they had a regular Fleck copy but this was replaced last year by the digital pattern. Jacket fits me perfect but trousers are a little on the fat side.

Oh well, guess thats just how its gotta be....Yeah it sure does... it does help to make international parcels sub 2kg as they are then under the Small Package Rate which is much cheaper. That is about £20 a hit to the US. US postage is usually about half what we get raped for. Good luck with all that mate!

PP- there's a few companies who bought up the panelwork etc, including a major load that went to Dallas to a former dealer. Oddly enough you can gat spare parts for most of the car as it was a bit of a parts bin special. Dashboards are tricky though.. Whilst the standard car in US spec was a bit asthmatic making a dubious 130odd bhp and roughly MX5 performance, when liberated of it's nasty emmisions kit and fitted with a decent exhaust and metering head off a Volvo 960 they kick out a better 185bhp. Of course, it's about time someone fitted the 24v heads from the 960 too... They are basically a rear engined Lotus Esprit with stainless body panels on the Lotus glassfibre/steel backbone chassis, with a 2.8PRV engine out back where it shouldn't be. Not anywhere near as dodgy handling as a contempory 911 though..

THAT is my dream car...! I've driven one and love them... A few weeks ago I saw one driving along the M4 and realised it was one of only 4 of it's kind in the world- it was a right hand drive DeLorean..

Do you use hand grenades as well lol. I found the link for the jacket but could not find any DDPM gortex trousers. And im sure theres plenty of us on here who wouldnt mind a set of deser DPMs both jacket and trousers.

Ah, good show that man.. I find it awfully useful for salt water fly fishing. In fact, I use a lot of dessie kit for that. And an M83 vest of course..

New Zealand Ventile DPM windproof smock. Oh yes.. luvverly bit of kit. I like the way the buttons are all covered over so they don't shine or get ripped off by ruck straps. And of course, it is ventile. Did I mention that it was ventile??
BTW someone wanted Desert DPM Goretex. Again, Jasper at http://www.strikeforcesupplies.co.uk/ has lots.

For what it's worth I have had two bog standard ARMY L85s for 2 years or more and both are used either in short 1 second bursts or single fire with no probs. The only prob is that if you don't do a definite pull on the trigger and all the way back, then semi can lock up sometimes. Stick to small bursts or long pulls and it's A ok. I use big-*albatross* 8.4v batteries only. Cracking guns and very good accuracy I find.
