WW2AA I copied this guys guide to do it, only mine is a little rougher due to my limited access to power tools. I didn't take pics while I was doing it unfortunately, and a lot of it was trial and error on my part, but Tommygunner's pics over at that link should prove very useful, they helped me no end future developments for this will include the acquisition of a suitable looking scope and a chopped down rail system to give the impression of a WW1 snipers weapon, or a Australian Lithgow No.1 MkIII sniper. glad you like it DL

thought this should go in here since there is no WWI thread. My Lee Enfield No.1 MKIII, based on a BAR10 action. Would have got a few pictures with the bayonet attached but my camera promptly died Still needs about 2 more coats of varnish to make sure its nice and tough, but it shoots like a dream and is quite unique comments welcome! I'm not sure if they are meant to, but what I've found works is if you unscrew them slowly until it clicks back in place then tighten them up they work fine, and you can do it quickly when you get the knack of it I haven't managed to even test them in the garden yet so I can't comment on range etc, I'm sure you've seen it but Infected's review is handy. They are very well made, mine have only just started to get a few marks where I've repeatedly put them through the launcher for practice. The valves seem good quality. that's about as much light I can shed on the matter for now. get a cou

The launcher is a ACM metal one, bought from this very parish. The shells are the Vaneras POM ones, the new versions, though I haven't fielded them yet they seem very reliable. easy to reset etc and they take a knock well enough that you can drop them straight out of the launcher after use, though I would advise against doing it all the time. Joe Edit: yeah I would prefer a full rail but I like it the way it is atm, that and my money is now aimed at the Noveske Diplomat bits

My Shooter sorry for the poor pics, need some natural light, but its terribly dull out today After Christmas I'll be investing in the parts to make a Noveske Diplomat upper for a more CQB friendly version Comments welcome Joe
