  3. WW2AA I copied this guys guide to do it, only mine is a little rougher due to my limited access to power tools. I didn't take pics while I was doing it unfortunately, and a lot of it was trial and error on my part, but Tommygunner's pics over at that link should prove very useful, they helped me no end future developments for this will include the acquisition of a suitable looking scope and a chopped down rail system to give the impression of a WW1 snipers weapon, or a Australian Lithgow No.1 MkIII sniper. glad you like it DL
  4. thought this should go in here since there is no WWI thread. My Lee Enfield No.1 MKIII, based on a BAR10 action. Would have got a few pictures with the bayonet attached but my camera promptly died Still needs about 2 more coats of varnish to make sure its nice and tough, but it shoots like a dream and is quite unique comments welcome! Joe

  6. I'm not sure if they are meant to, but what I've found works is if you unscrew them slowly until it clicks back in place then tighten them up they work fine, and you can do it quickly when you get the knack of it I haven't managed to even test them in the garden yet so I can't comment on range etc, I'm sure you've seen it but Infected's review is handy. They are very well made, mine have only just started to get a few marks where I've repeatedly put them through the launcher for practice. The valves seem good quality. that's about as much light I can shed on the matter for now. get a cou
  7. The launcher is a ACM metal one, bought from this very parish. The shells are the Vaneras POM ones, the new versions, though I haven't fielded them yet they seem very reliable. easy to reset etc and they take a knock well enough that you can drop them straight out of the launcher after use, though I would advise against doing it all the time. Joe Edit: yeah I would prefer a full rail but I like it the way it is atm, that and my money is now aimed at the Noveske Diplomat bits
  8. My Shooter sorry for the poor pics, need some natural light, but its terribly dull out today After Christmas I'll be investing in the parts to make a Noveske Diplomat upper for a more CQB friendly version Comments welcome Joe
  9. That MC51K is hot! well done Joe
  10. Nice DC making me wish I still had my M14 now, will it be making an appearance at FB this weekend by chance? Joe
  11. It what the blue man group would wield if they were that way inclined.
  12. that's quality Stuntman, all you needed was to surface with an MP5 and it would have been supermegaawesome
  13. your pics are full of 99.99% concentrated awesome. Joe EDIT, you beat me to the orange tip law
  14. Not only the gas mask, but using a pistol against said offensive smell, it must be bad! nice loadout by the way, really liking the black kit
  15. It'll be getting the once over with paint soon enough. Frakk2k, you must wait till the paint job, I'm thinking of blue tigerstripe, or red if I can accumulate enough head shots Joe
  16. Its taken approximately 1 hour to turn this: into this: more work to do, but so far it still shoots the same, and the range is also still the same despite me hacksawing 3 inches off the already short barrel just need some modelling putty to finish it cosmetically, then a nice coat of black paint should top it all off any comments welcome Joe
  17. Yeah your lot look like there all there for the simple reason that its fun not ragging on those who like the dress up side, I am liking it more and more, but that pic is quite awesome for that fact that it shows what we all got into airsoft for. Joe
  18. I know this is real steel but I'm sort of liking it, would be interesting to see an Airsoft version haha, ATTENTION, all purists, divert eyes now! you have been warned. Bullpup style M14! As I said I'm in two minds about it, one hand I really like it, the other it just looks plain odd Joe
  19. Thanks for the suggestion mate, your rifle is pretty sweet I must say I do like the extruded look, but for now I can put a silencer in the RAS like short SD kit, which is something I plan on doing soon, so I can switch from loud to a more muffled report. Again, cheers for the comments, they are appreciated Joe
  20. Dboys RAS This is the one I have, its sold out at RSOV, but gunner or Ebaybanned may have them, try contacting RSOV if the others don't have them, I'm sure Keith could source one for you if needed.

  22. One of my weapons Couple more in the Armalite thread
  23. looking good, been meaning to go back to the First and Only Matlock site for a while now. In the first pic, the guy on bottom right, I swear I've seen him playing at Fireball recently, if not its a guy who looks incredibly like him, he's usually in WW2 gear which I *think* is American airborne gear, with a Thompson. keep em coming Joe
