I'm loving the left hand drive to right hand drive conversion kit. what about the pedals though?!
Look at the rods under the dashboard, they've thought of that, and it's an auto.

Unless its a 3.25XI which means AWD and then applying chains to the front tires would be reasonable
It's a 1 series though.

Whatever's marked Tv on my camera right? That's time-variable I thought XD.
What if you do 1:1/4 sec?
On Nikons and other cameras with MASP dials, it's Shutter speed (there are many names, exposure time, time variable, but shutter speed is the most common).
Manual Aperture Shutter Program

Nope, not the shutter speed. Setting the exposure between 20/25 and 30 seconds.
You'll definetly need a tripod of some sort to stable it.
That'll be shutter speed

I NEVER had a problem with white balance untill those stingray pictures, so I am trying to learn WB.
Seems very challenging to get use to, but I think learning it will benefit me greatly
Shoot RAW then you don't have to worry about white balance settings.

i realise now photo shopping is a must, so what does everyone use to do there photos.
i recently got cs4,but i think its got a few parts missing(say something about a colour palite, being missing when loaded),and its very complicated to use.
well for me being a total noob at this it is.
yesterday i got light room which seems alot easier but i know it doesnt have all the functions of cs4.
should i try and get to grips with cs4 or just stick with light room until i know alittle more about what im doing
Get to grips with CS4 and use both.
Take a look at Digital Photo magazine, it has plenty of really good and non-patronising lessons to help.
I find that in actuallity I only use a few functions of CS4 when putting images through post production.
Portraiture and noiseware are useful plugins to have.

Incase no one has spotted it and might be interested, March edition of Practical Photography has an article on home studios and lighting effects that's not too bad.
Covers high and low key too.

just ordered a nikon 28mm f2.8 prime lens for my d300s, can't wait, i'll be using it for my wide angle applications.
Is 42mm that wide? Or is the lens taking into account the sensor size?

A Citroen DS Pallas. I should have expected that from you
She's so beautiful, I'm totally jealous of Richard, her owner

640x427 is plenty big enough.
Great photo btw
If you want it larger, you have to actually post a larger image.
If that's straight off the camera, then check the quality settings to see if there are any higher ones.

one of those professional flashes that uses an umbrella type thing to reflect it, whatever they are called.
It's called an "umbrella" in fact
Which is used to diffuse and soften light.
Their shadows show the light source is from the top left of the image, quite high by the shadow cast by the mortar on the wall, and slightly behind them by the other shadows.
I'd say the original wasn't properly exposed, and no reflector was used to light up the right side of their bodies, so photoshop or similar was used to adjust the curves and improve the exposure.
It would explain the colour distortion of a few of their helmets.

Thank you for reminding me! I must phone E&J and sort out my insurance, they buggered up taking the payment twice (as in they didn't take it) so cancelled my insurance, first I knew about it was a month or so later getting a letter saying they were sorry I'd decided to leave them!
Still it's better than them taking more money than they should.
