  1. Just looking at the first pic, are there really crane stocks with battery compartments in RS?
  2. Also remember to take duty and VAT into account. Buy individually from HK and you may manage to get past customs. As a large importer, I doubt companies like action hobbys can get away with that.
  3. Take the pistol grip out. See at the back of the gearbox (where the spring guide is held) there back of the pistol grip is flat? Hack a bit off there, and run wires through it to the motor. Make sure you've enough slack to handle the stock being folded, but not too much as to get in the way when you don't fold the stock.
  4. Photoshop gives you the ability to control contrast far greater than with lighting alone. Try dodging or burning a specific area of your subject with lighting alone. It's fantastic at converting to monochrome, giving you the ability to not just de-saturate but control exactly how you want the colour removed. Correcting under or over exposed photos is a doddle too. And of course you can use some CS2 magic and produce things like this: and
  5. If your camera can do it, shoot in RAW Gives you a lot more to work with when adjusting levels etc Photoshop is your friend. It's a clunky friend, but very powerful! Get a subscription to a good digital photography magazine, such as http://www.photographymags.co.uk/ They give plenty of tutorials on how to take great photos. Use as low an ISO as you can get away with. Try not to centralise your subject, move it off to the left or right. Use the rule of thirds, imagine a 3 by 3 grid through the viewfinder, and line up natural changes in the subject with the imaginary grid lines.
  6. One I took last weekend at Finmere and applied some simple CS2 magic
  7. What is the difference between the M190 and M199?
  8. There's a thread on it in the technical forum. Cost less than £20 for parts
  9. Here's my G36 with home made box mag (holds approx 6000 and cost less than £20) and battery box on rail (holds a 2250mAh 11.1V LiPol battery) Might add a radio camera to the front of the battery box
  10. So's mine now, it makes changing batteries so much more easier
  11. Me and "the sarge" down the pub last night. Never leave a man behind... ...or my lovely gf
  12. zomg! He can't be serious can he? Someone tell me people aren't really that dumb!?!
  13. Is there any difference in the stock lengths though between a CA36 with cutout and a CA36 without it?
  14. Thanks Yes, the crome screws do look out of place. I've got some black paint ready to use. The lower rail is from the MP5 ICS tactical foregrip (which can't take the M203 on the MP5 but can on the G36) and you'd hardly notice it was there without the M203. The above pic is what I'd set up for CQB (although mainly just with the tac light) What exactly is the difference between old version and new version stocks?
  15. Aw but without the rails, how can I have the G36 O'Doom to go with my MP5 O'Doom? You can see the stock better there. I used the vent holes simply because I don't want to butcher the gun trying to put rails on the side in the right place (it's too beautiful to have holes cut out) and it puts the tac light in range of my thumb. I've put a long rail on the underside which can take the M203. Also trying out a 7.4v LiPol battery.
  16. My new CA36 Will get some better pics soon
  17. Is it just me, or does JoeKing look like he'd be perfectly at home up in a college campus clocktower with Sinead?
  18. Here's a pic of mine (well, just like mine) Goes like a rocket and does about 550 miles to a tank.
  19. How well does the adaptor fit with the shorter barrel of the TM?
