  1. Agreed. To the OP: Didn't mean to sound sarky, just saying that they love their holidays in HK and it wouldn't surprise if it took longer than Taiwan. It depends on the shipping method you chose, I have an order soon to be dispatched via airmail but I won't be surprised if it doesn't arrive for 2-3 weeks.
  2. Yeah, the ".com.tw" kind of gives it away.
  3. What you can try for three letter searches is "*AUG" or "*AEG", the "*" wildcard puts it past the three letter limit, but unfortunately it means you'll get some stuff you don't want.
  4. It's fairly easily seen as it is to be honest and the review database also has it's own button at the top amongst the forum tools. Once you've been a member for a while you'll know where to look for both of them.
  5. Oh right, well you learn something every day
  6. It does say "Only for use on STAR M249s", but I wonder if there is actually any reason why it couldn't be used others?
  7. OK cheers. I'll send him an email at some point then, at that price it definitely seems worth it for longevity.
  8. I'm assuming some people have put mosfets in their SAWs, are they easy to install? And what's the best way to put it in? Solder it straight on or use some Deans? I was looking at getting one from the guy on the classifieds (here)
  9. Why do none of the girls believe me when I tell them my 'grenade' is 'rocket propelled'...
  10. Well looking at my G36's wiring, which I've never really looked at and was comparing my M249 to, it looks like the previous owner had wired a large-small adapter to allow it to take a battery with a red wire to the square connector. So it looks like my bad. Anyway, what takes a battery wired red to square? RC stuff?
  11. You sure about that? Just picking a picture from Component Shop: It's just looking at the connection on my A&K it's the opposite of that and also the supplied battery wouldn't charge unless I swapped the connectors over to be like that in the above pic. Also comparing my G36's wiring, it's like that in the pic and the opposite of the A&K.
  12. Excuse me if I'm being completely moronic and missed this earlier in the thread, but is the A&K wired backwards? Mine has the red wire going to the circular plug on the tamiya and the black to the square one (i.e. backwards).
  13. I got sent my tracking info from ASW for mine yesterday and according to ParcelFarce it should be here monday.
  14. Anyone know where I can get a £200 plastic bag?
  15. Oooooooooooooooooh, I can't wait - hurry up time! *shakes fist at time*
  16. No idea when he'll be getting them in but Keith @ RSOV ships to the US. They've got them on the site (it might only be the Mk1 at the moment) but its been showing as 0 stock. Might be worth emailing Keith or his team.
  17. Just thought I'd post the links to the right 8mm bearings on the VXB site to save anyone looking if they were interested. These are all the ones they sell in the right dimensions: http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/3mm/kit860 http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/kit749 http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/kit1048 I think it's probably those last ceramic ones that Hillslam was referring to.
  18. Ah ok, that's cool. I've paid for mine, so hopefully it'll turn up in a week or so
  19. Anyone any idea what the status of ASW's latest shipment is? The site still says expected 25th/28th, I tried giving them a ring but got the busy thing.
  20. You can always search for "AUG*" or whatever else with a * after it. But I agree the search restriction is annoying, although I'm sure there's a reason for it.
  21. If you were going ahead with that, which I think is a good idea, then you'd also need to limit the access of new members to the wanted section, so that they couldn't respond to wanted ads.
  22. Looks good, but I think I'll be waiting until more people have them to get a better idea of variation in quality/reliability.
  23. Don't say please, just post it in the right place and don't get angry at people for telling you to post it in the right place. EDIT: Indeed...
  24. Try posting this in the right section, but FYI there are limits on what your avatar can be. EDIT: If you know, why did you post it here?
