  1. Yeah I'm liking that. Probably won't be nearly as nice as a TM with an expensive slide/barrel/parts kit, probably still have a stock feeling trigger etc.. but then if it doesn't cost too much more than a normal Stark I'm fairly hopeful given the progress they've made. Comparing my old non-traded G17 to my Gen3 with trades to my Gen4, there's very clear and noticeable improvement each time.
  2. The fact it's in an Instagram bubble really makes it.
  3. Sweet shots mate. You have a light rig of some kind?
  4. Not enough going on in here. Plat-A-Tac H Smock: Honestly not sure I'll ever wear it, but I sure do enjoy having it in the collection. Got a few sets of trousers but no shirts thus far. Kryptek themselves make combat shirts in the style I want and in both colours I want (Mandrake and Highlander). They've been selling them for years but they've never, ever had any stock made below a medium; and their medium is an American 'medum' that would drown me. By their size charts I'd actually have to buy an extra small.
  5. I'm guessing those are RS mag shells and the Magpul G36 mags are indeed quite a bit thinner than the H&K original design. Looks really good FlorChuck, great work.
  6. Well.. maybe for normal AEGs, but it specifically says 'excludes next gen series' i.e. the recoil line.
  7. Try starting a thread in Gear Discussion perhaps? Since this is a picture thread?
  8. So one of my M&Ps has the angry gun outer barrel and I was thinking of picking up a longer inner to match it since the stock inner is short even with the stock outer. Don't have my guns with me at work however and various retail websites list the stock inner barrel length as anywhere from 78 to 95mm. I'm thinking about roughly 10mm on top of the stock inner length should work nicely for the threaded barrel but I'm not sure what to go with, anyone know the right figure?
  9. The stock range on my VFC/Stark/CG Glocks and M&Ps isn't much to write home about, does the job for real close indoor work but that's about it. Was looking at the Maple Leaf buckings but they come in 50, 60, 70, 75 and 80 (degrees presumably, they don't say). Haven't changed anything else on the guns, what would folks recommend?
  10. IMHO, looks better than the PS90, so the RS makes sense. Wouldn't own an airsoft AR-57 personally since we can have a short-barrelled, full auto airsoft P90, but it's a cool piece. You're never gonna pull that out of a gun bag only to realise that everyone else at the site that day has turned up with the same gun.
  11. R.e. the cooking. As mentioned you push all the contents to one end, then fold the bag in half and boil up about half a mess tin (the smaller one) of water with the larger tin on top to increase boiling speed by retaining more heat/steam. Bag goes in to the smaller tin and in a couple of minutes you're done. Amount of water required is comparatively quite little that way and you can use the water you've just cooked with to make a brew, which means there's almost zero wasted overall as you're still drinking 80%+ of that water (obviously minus the steam). Not tried a Jetboil but they are
  12. Already has threaded holes (I know they don't look it but trust me). It's not too big of an issue really, I'll be able to get the right piece in time.
  13. Real simple CQB AEG. Just needs a small rail section for the very front 12 o/clock of the forend for a light, but they're proprietary and only sold by the company that makes the handguards in the states who have a silly flat rate shipping price.
  14. Hmm.. yeah with the way the inner workings part of those PMAGs are, I think possibly some over-filling could cause this. Maybe combined with not being put together right.
  15. So 80s I can feel my jacket growing shoulder pads. Great 'tache.
  16. Feels like ages since you posted the initial pictures at the start of that, how long did it take to all put together in the end? I find really long term builds like that quite interesting.
  17. Didn't even have to use my AK today.

  18. Well, you've not said which parts you already have (if any) or linked to the ones you intend to buy, so it's rather difficult to answer the question without spending hours trying to elaborate on every possible situation or permutation. Providing more information in the question really helps people give answers. If you have a standard type barrel nut now that'll fit your upper then you can buy the rail kit/set and it'll attach on. If not then I'd recommend adding a standard type barrel nut in to your order even if the kit comes with one (which I'm not sure of as I've not looked up that pa
  19. The front on the G&P M7A1 is just a Troy MRF rail with a certain barrel and VLTOR flash hider. The rail in question clamps around a bog standard barrel nut.
  20. ikr? Did not expect to ever find such a thing. Turns out if you spend enough time scouring the quiet, lightly trodden corners of small gear stores on the internet you'll be surprised. I've sacrificed ever having a girlfriend, any sort of skin pigmentation and any potential muscle tone, but like, so totally worth it.
  21. Wouldn't usually post a lone item, but I think this is justifiable.
  22. lul, wut? Are there even Co2 mags for this? I really can't be sure since I haven't any to test, but knowing the way the airsoft front sight fits I wouldn't think so (very wobbly, just a spring loaded detent that keeps it sort-of in place). Not actually seen anyone try RS sights in this platform yet though, hopefully someone else around might've.
  23. That is a good look for sure. That's an MOE stock though.
  24. Personally, I'd never wear a Naga to skirmish given how effective the material in the main body is for heat retention, but I perhaps run at a generally hotter level than some. Either that or I just have an unusually high aversion to swimming in my own sweat compared to most as I always see a couple of people every game that are wearing insulated softshells or hoodies. I never wear more than a combat shirt even outdoors in winter, but end of the day the deciding factor is your rig. A PC retains more heat than just about any jacket ever would, whereas if you're just using a belt then obviousl
