Pretty rare to see something that isn't a 416 or a MkSOPMODBlock69 these days so yeah, fair one. I pretty much reserve anything over an 11.5 for outdoor games, so no need for a light. I never use lasers for skirmishing and I don't own an IR yet for weekenders, so no box. Also stopped bothering with BUIS years ago, it was weight and money for something I quite literally never ever touched and I rarely go for foregrips now, doubly so on longer guns. The KAG I got for about $9 in a sale at HSP for the looks, don't even like the feel of it on there. The 'sister' to this gun is pretty much

The T-1 is a nasty knock-off since I don't have a mount for my real one, but other than that, this thing is actually 'done' externally. I'll have to get better pictures some time once the optic's sorted, but I wanted to get some out there now since it took so damn long to fully-BCM it. I had the KMR on there aaages ago and the other accessories were fairly random, but when Dytac brought out their pistol grips I figured hey let's go for it. Sourcing the newer style stock, KeyMod bits and the right replica compensator from all over the damn planet took a while but it's by far my best handling

Anyone got 1-2 bog standard AEG AR trigger guards sat in a box unused per chance? I seem to have about a dozen magpul ones, but of course need a normal one to fit this current build.

A VFC I bought yonks ago and still haven't finished. Original plan was to be a sort of mirror to all the black KAC guns with FDE Magpul that were the thing 4-5 years ago, just need to swap the current forend for another ALG Defense one in black then I'll be happy with the looks. She ain't a looker, but with the ambi controls, QD point right at the back, access to the light from both sides and a short/light barrel and M-LOK tube she's handy for CQB.

All the good, interesting little bits like that always are; especially parts that adapt one thing to another. They almost always make them in tiny runs, either one-off or with years long gaps. Some Laylax externals for Marui ARs that I like have been OOS everywhere I've looked for literally 2+ years.

Kinetic Dev Group make adapter pieces (expensive ones) to allow ACR stocks to work on SCARs. Only way I know to do it in airsoft is with the above mentioned, which I believe is only for WE GBBRs.

The old Airbana map seems to have gone now. "oh we'll rely on facebook to publicise our site".. the *fruitcage* search on facebook is useless AF! When you don't play that often to keep up on what's closed and new places opening this is a PITA.

Does the UKARA website show area/region next to the site names? The list won't load for me at the moment but they will have the best database of current sites, if it was searchable it'd make things much easier for players.

I can't even access the list it seems, something about requesting to read it triggers an alert related to a firewall.

I don't do the facebooks, so for my local scene I have no clue as to anything that might be actually close by happening. Sad too as we have had perfect weather most of winter to play.

Little CQB beast there, what's the RS mag equivalent? The RPK 40 rounders don't seem to have that 'step' in the front yours has.

Are ear lobe expanders, vape things, *suitcase* facial hair and hitler-youth haircuts just everywhere these days or is it the the crowd airsoft attracts? I live in a bubble.

I don't know why I'm at all surprised realistically, we're all the misfits/non-conventionals/conformists/whatever you want to call it. Difference was a decade ago that just meant you were probably a proper, traditional nerd who hung his RIFs above his LOTR sword replicas.
