  1. Another great hydro product from Source, loving their stuff. Seems ideal for airsoft really seeing as so many of us use rigs with plate pouches but have no need for the armour itself. Thanks for highlighting this Gish, top quality review.
  2. I've seen that sugar trick used before for painting the insides of small sailing boats, pretty clever idea.
  3. Gucci lid sigma, good stuff. Do we reckon the RS rails themselves will go on alright?
  4. Today, I put cake on toast and ate it.

  5. Ah, well there we go, problem solved. Didn't expect the cover to come with the extras, though for the price I suppose I should've expected it really.
  6. I will be, though I'm pretty certain before I've even bought it that it's not going to work right out the box. It seems to make use of certain velcro attachment points inside the RS Airframe which aren't featured on the TMC version.
  7. Agree with that, it can look a bit small compared to older designs, but on the other hand this the only helmet I've ever worn that doesn't give me insane shroom'age. I look an utterly ridiculous in my issue mk6.
  8. Interesting notes there guys, good info. Ex: I actually noticed a similar thing myself when I first unpackaged the FH. I like to generally get a feel of any metal product I buy so I know what to expect from it while in use, so I handled it and gave one of the prongs a flick with my finger nail, and as you say, produced a fairly long resonating tone (for such a small object that is). I would presume this is a combination of the high quality material used and the fact that the ends are not encircled as with your standard AR/L85 birdcage or other similar designs of hider. The design leave
  9. I'm in the M/L sort of area, 57/58cm. The fit is pretty close to ideal for me I find.
  10. Anyone have a link to a good appendix of tactical type acronyms/abbreviations?

I dunno, will's link is pretty handy. I try and stay positive about people, there's so much corruption, disloyalty and hypocrisy in this world it wouldn't be good to start dwelling on the negative too much.

  11. I'm getting a hell of an education about the ACR GB reading all this, that's for sure. Good effort sn00py.
  12. Ooh.. shiny new PMAGs that work in guns which aren't ARs. Good idea that.

Basically eliminates whole point of EMAG's. *points and laughs at British Army*

It does now, but us using the old steel magazines for the entire time that we've had EMAGs may well have meant a couple more dead men. Our EMAGs are dual window, I don't really see how the MoD is in any sort of comical situation as a result of this release.

:o I love MAGPUL so much... it's hot healthy to like a company this much, but I guess that's their whole concept :|

Nice new PMAGS actually, me gusta!

  13. Just in case anyone wasn't certain, Ludus haven't suddenly started making action men. I don't anything about the whole 1:6 world myself, but it'll be one of those companies that've made this.
  14. Pretty much the opposite effect of the Crye/LBT systems, but good alternative to belt rig suspenders none-the-less.
  15. Nice, very nice. Getting primary mags, secondary mags, comms, greandes and hydro all on there just shows what can be done even with a fairly slim chest rig. Looked at those Source 1Ls many a time, definitely going to pick one up whenever I get around to putting a chest rig together.
  16. For a minute I was looking at the thigh pockets and knee areas and all seemed normal... pan right... wtf?!?
  17. Hmm... well, I haven't changed my settings in such a manner as to indicate that I want daily digests, but I just got 18 of them.
  18. I can filter the exaggeration, but is that actually what it's like on some of these 'real' gear forums? Glad I don't have accounts...
  19. Having looked at TT's site, well... it is. Whoever's actually making them, they just slapped a grey ghost label on top where the TT one was. That and the litelock material, I believe TT's is 500D cordura.
  20. Most of the stuff GG have been selling on so far has been TT, so it wouldn't surprise me if TT actually made these and just stuck the ghost label on.
  21. Heh, no it's good to be honest, I'm glad I know now. Probably just sell my current one and buy another. The only problem with the TACO is they're 4 MOLLE rows high, so when you mount them 3 rows up from the bottom of the panel (due to the alternate spacing) you have 1 row's worth hanging down, which is functional but not 100% ideal. The other option being to just put them up too high but that makes reloads slower and more awkward. Credit to Warrior on this one really, almost every other gear maker produces PCs and rigs with the alternate spacing, but those guys have noticed the issue a
  22. Haven't actually set it up like that yet I'm afraid. Next time I'm home with all my kit to hand I'll sort that out for you though, be about 10 days from now. Actually bought it about a month ago, just over. They've been running a 50%-off-everything sale since Christmas time so I guess all the stock got snapped up.
  23. Oh ffs, they would have to go and add all that extra webbing on to the front panel. The TACOs never quite sit in the ideal place with the original version because they only put the MOLLE loops on alternate rows in that area, then you have to go and show me this. I'm going to have to bloody buy another one now.
