  1. The chinese companies tend to just use the same cordura for the PALS loops as they do the rest of the item, they just fold it over, hence it looks off compared to the proper webbing material that a high end company would use.
  2. *fruitcage* me, that's a lot of money in gas mags. Which one do you prefer then elch?

The pricing on the UR-Tac stuff is pretty good. However, there's gonna be some people kicking themselves real hard when it all becomes standard issue for the USN in the not too distant future.

But but they match your trousers CK. You have to buy it! I am looking forward to picking up some AOR2 when it becomes issue

Heh, yeah I think I'd go for the (substantially cheaper) OPS UBACS if I wanted a top half to go with the trousers.

  3. MOLLE mountable? If so, Blackhawk SERPAs, G-Code and Safariland holsters all have compatible accessories available for purchase that'll allow you to mount your sidearm to a MOLLE rig. Depends on your budget really. There's plenty of cordura 'universal' holsters out there that are MOLLE mounted and cheap, but they'll just lose your GBB mags and that's no fun.
  4. What's the idea behind the mesh bag? Looks like the worlds most tacticool washing bag. ... I could use a tacticool washing bag...
  5. Oh god.. that's so genuinely deceiving I feel a little bit ill right now.
  6. Nice load-out JJ, excellent photo work too.
  7. It's also difficult for people in certain areas to get the real stuff, and once you add in shipping and customs fees its a whole *fruitcage* load more expensive than the Pantac/Flyye that a player would much more likely be able to source locally/in-country.
  8. Alright photo type follks. I'm after something in a simple digital to snap snaps of all my airsoft stuff, looking at around £300 probably, wondered if any of you experts here might have any recommendations? Thus far I've been borrowing my mother's Panasonic Lumix and I find that pretty impressive and easy to use, so my default decision would be to just get an updated model of one of those, just thought I'd see what opinions are out there.
  9. Will the form accept links for PM conversations? Only I made a purchase from another member the other day but it was all discussed by PM, no thread was ever put up in the classifieds, and when I try and submit feedback I get the error message as Hedganian.
  10. Yep. Nobody makes an airsoft replica though unfortunately, which is a shame because it'd be handy if they did.
  11. Been exchanging a couple of PMs with 1 person and over the last 3 days or so they're just not appearing in the thread here on the forum. I'm getting the e-mails, but when I look at the actual message the more recent entries seem to be missing. Edit: Whoops, all is fine, ignore my mad ramblings.
  12. Depends what kind of woods you're playing in. If it's more mud and dead leaves you'd be better of with marpat since that's more brown, but if you've got fearns, light green leafy plants and grass, AOR2 should serve you very well.
  13. Twenteen bazillion. Unfortunately, it will also take you about that many minutes to reload. j/k galih, it's a high quality rig, no doubt there.
  14. UK-Tac fan I see, good stuff. The DCS is looking nice.
  15. Looks like one of those hinged varieties, so it's bolted on.
  16. End of the day guys, this is the TM EBB thread, so whatever our opinions might be, it's best to keep it on topic. I'm not a Systema fan at all, but if some people want to be that's up to them, I'm sure they're intelligent enough to decide what's right for their needs. Lets keep it to the SOPMOD/SOCOM discussions before people start arguing and this important resource ends up locked.
  17. Wow, really? Can't wait to see that in action dude, best of luck with the build, we'll all be eagerly awaiting the results.
  18. I presume I'd be right in saying that PC and the pouches have been made from scratch?
  19. raf reg: *Not* perfect scores. Armourer: 100% of shots on target. dats wat im talkin bout'

Thanks, was curious. I forgot to say that my M16 qual included three positions, standing/braced, kneeling, and prone.

Did you have to shoot wearing a gas mask at any point? We did. Oddly enough, I actually hit dead center while wearing the mask. The instructor had never seen that before.

Army guys do, not us though. Did plenty of running around in them though.

Yeah, we still MOPP suits for ORE/ORIs. 12hr shifts wearing full MOPP gear sucks, luckily, being aircrew, I never had to wear it all the time, just when I was going to/from the jet. Mostly, though, I got to skip out on the exercises as I would volunteer to be a roleplayer, mostly simulating a wounded airman after an 'attack'. After I informed the inspectors I had "hadji" and "russian" airsoft kit, they wanted me to use it lol!

  21. I'm liking the mag catch, selector and the mag well extension, they'd improve the ergonomics a lot. Might have to look around for something similar with a konger front-end, or at least see if I can get those bits and fit them to a CYMA/Kalash.
  22. Can you lock the bolt back on that blade? Always fancied an AK that could do that.
  23. Good stuff, which brand gearbox did you go with? Any issues with fitting the GB shell/buffer tube/barrel etc?
