  1. Long as he flips his left hand around so the fingers are facing backwards, then they'll come out the right way with the thumb around the back of the mag. It'd only be a problem if he were grabbing the mags on top and lifting them straight up.
  2. I did, have to say thanks to you for that recommendation mate, it's well worth the investment. Now I can finally get myself a decent belt-mounted piece of kydex for my pistol. Funnily enough actually I have the exact same 2 panels running under the belt as you do, though I think I'm gonna opt for a G-Code rather than RCS.
  3. Sorted now. Although the uploader displays the amount of space you have remaining in the place of your total storage space. i.e. If I had 8mb of pictures on there, it'll say 12mb total.
  4. S&B - Exceedingly good 25x optics.

*suitcase* man, you paid for an S&B??!! Nice!

Oh christ no, putting a $4k-odd optic on my £100 springer would definitely be mental. Just went on a trip for work today to a massive MoD warehouse, had a play around with various things. Emphasis on the 'various'.

  5. Last time I looked at my gallery I still had a few m/bytes free space, but when I tried to upload another image yesterday: "You have used 7.07MB of 2.93MB" Was that a known/deliberate change or? Cheers guys.
  6. The feed ramp's been polished to a mirror sheen. It's not going to have any feeding problems.[/gravel]
  7. Ah, yes that makes sense now. Like I say though, the zip on the ICE shirt is only partial. OPS do all their UBACS with a full length zip which is a big strange (and the reason I haven't bought one yet) but they're the only ones that I know of to do so.
  8. Main issue right now: As soon I've preview a post, it's removing all the carriage returns/blank lines. I put them in again, but no matter what I try as soon as I post/preview what I've input, everything's jammed back up together again. Not sure whether it's something to do with putting pictures/videos in the post itself, but it's a bit of a pain truth be told.
  9. Sorry, probably just me being dense, how do you mean coming 'out'? My shirt pictured there is actually the ICE Firestorm, 10" or so zip on there, though perhaps that was a recent change. To be honest I'm regretting not getting the Arc'Teryx TALOS now since it wasn't all that much more and I prefer the more conventional materials used, but oh well. At least when I eventually get to Afghan I'll know that I can bring the ICE shirt with me and have something fire resistant.
  10. Ah, might try a bit of the old IE then. Nice to know it's in hand, cheers.
  11. Does it? Fairly standard feature to be honest, all the brit issue UBACS over the years have partial zips; crye gen 2 and 3, tru-spec xtreme, 5.11, arc-teryx and helikon combat shirts... 'Source Hydration', first google result mate. Impressive piece of equipment, the air-spacer mesh is excellent. Unfortunately you can't hang things like dump pouches out underneath as with a lot of belts, but if you wanted to use a drop-leg holster or whatever then you can just weave out your duty belt to facilitate that no problem.
  12. Aye, I should say if that doesn't, then nothing ever will.
  13. Shiny new stuff is new and shiny.
  14. That little thingy in the very top-left corner of the light blue box, above the bold 'B'. When you first type out a post, put in your code and all that, it's fine and pretty much works in the same way as it ever did before the last update. However, when you click preview to see whether your formatting will display correctly once submitted (as I always do) all the BB code transforms in to an exact preview of the post; then when you hit the switch, it goes totally the opposite way and displays so much code it's ridiculous. Every single piece of text has code around it for font, size, colo

  16. Right.. The SOPMOD and all its' derivatives, as well as the SCAR-L and all its' variants, all accept the same type of mag. One that is styled after the real steel 30 round 5.56x45mm NATO magazine. The SCAR-H, is, in real life, a rifle chambered to fire 7.62x51mm ammunition. This means that its' magazine is far winder and also slightly shorter than the 5.56 mags. If you already own a SOPMOD or SCAR-L, then you will need new mags if you intend to pick up the SCAR-H. Hopefully these clear side-on views of the weapons will help to demonstrate:

I really wish the arnies board had the plugin to transmit smells. Everyone would love my gear posts then.

  18. Do you mean the SCAR-L? The SOCOM/SOPMOD use 5.56 style mags, same as the L variant of the SCAR. The SCAR-H is a 7.62 weapon, the magazines are totally different, much much wider.
  19. The literal definition of a pure carry handle.
  20. So you can personally guarantee that every single one of those people in that massive crowd removed their batteries and definitely didn't have any BBs in their mags? Not one single person with an AEG that has a really awkward battery placement went "aw *fruitcage* it, I'll just be careful not to pull the trigger", or that nobody's using a GBBr and left some gas in a mag? Not sure why I'm even asking to be honest, because even if you could (which you can't) then it's still irrelevant. Airsoft weapons should be treated the same as real ones, you don't put mags in housings or fingers in tri
  21. if I had a gun that cost 2k, no way in hell I'd be letting anybody else game with it.
