  1. Well, depends how seamless you want the end result to be and how good you are with various tools. Also MFT offer many stocks so that doesn't give me anything to work by. If the stock was a primary concern you'd have been better off with the SOCOM since all the rest are rear wired.
  2. The whole line uses the same parts largely, normal airsoft TM spec, which is somewhere close to Mil Spec; generally a smidge slimmer. There aren't many ARs in airsoft that use comm spec, comparatively speaking.
  3. What have you heard about the RECCE being wobbly? I've never been made aware of any issues with it.
  4. Good kit mate. AR needs much more barbie though. Give me a shout if you need any help with that.
  5. Alllll the chin weld up in this bizzle. Desert night's looking good in the back there.
  6. Can you move the nice AR please? I need to meditate at the stone and get an extra character upgrade point.
  7. Don't mirror flip images, it messes with my mind and stuff!
  8. On my screen only one of those is actually legible and you need to censor it as per forum rules.
  9. Some of the swag I yoinked at SHOT.
  10. SHOT sure is cool, but my goodness is it frantic. All those 'Tube videos of exhibitors calmly going through gear as 1-2 people stroll by... NOPE

  11. So rarely needed, but when that chance finally comes around.. Why the strange assumptions out of interest? Just because you'd wrapped the rifle? That's pretty bemusing.
  12. My other Stark G17. No big changes, I did try the Vickers slide lock but alas it did not want to play ball. Pretty holster filler for short-range skirmishes though.
  13. When you're busting out the phrase cloverleaf-drilled.. probably.
  14. I had a few of my TM ARs fitted with BAD levers (PTS and RS), stopped the bolt catch working unfortunately. The lever used to impinge on the lower reciever inside of the trigger guard, which would stop the actual paddle swinging out far enough to stop the rifle firing when the magazine was empty 95% of the time; so you just ended up being minus that feature. If the 416 is a slightly different shape or the button is in a slightly different place at all it might work, I only tried it on the M4 line.
  15. Looks like the old WWI naval camo. Not sure how effective that'll be compared to the more conventional and softer paint schemes, but personally I think that looks awesome.

  17. Preview pic of my new rig sent over the Atlantic from the guy who made it up for me. As with my last one, it's a combination of FirstSpear and custom components, but I'll post up more pictures and details in a few weeks once it's actually made its way over the pond.
  18. Any Australians around? I'm after some apparel from a store down under and they don't wanna ship further than New Zealand.

  19. I never get papped much in games, so a couple of video grabs shall have to suffice.
  20. Anyone likely to order some patches from Violent Little Machine Shop in the next 2 weeks? I've got a discount code here I'm never gonna use.

  21. I apologise if it came across as condescending because that wasn't the idea, but it's something that grinds my personal gears so yes it did get to me when I was writing. With regards the forums actual posting rules for the reviews sections, what I'm referring to is in the latter part of point 1: http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/forum-291/announcement-19-posting-a-review-check-these-rules-first/ Those were obviously written a long time ago before YT was prevelant so if you want to interpret it literally and say it only applies to written articles then your choice of course,
  22. As I say there are plenty of people on here who have YouTube channels etc who do not spam their stuff and if you look at other threads like this it is very clearly obvious that people aren't interested in them. They don't add or contribute anything to the forum. You've already got all the social media necessary to promote your stuff and I can guarantee you in this day and age that the number of people discovering your channel via a forum in comparison to instagram or facebook is so close to nil it makes no odds, so again there's no need for it.
  23. You realise this sub-forum is for posting actual written reviews, not just shamelessly whoring your personal social media platforms? They're already in your signature. If everyone with a youtube channel did what you do it would make the forum in to a pointless, spam-fest of non-content.
  24. *suitcase* I need that in my life. The 105 is the heat. With the possible exception of a railed top cover you've built exactly what I've been thinking of for months now. Sweet work.
  25. My feeling is they were probably buoyed substantially by contracts during Aussie deployment in Afghan, which allowed them to develop a lot of stuff and take a few more 'risks' and do more runs of smaller quantities on certain products. That has obviously now gone away and it's not like there's a big tactical market there either; pretty sure airsoft guns are banned too. But I'm not aware of any other level 5 jackets like that with the sleeve pockets in the AC shirt style like that at the moment unfortunately, which is a shame because these jackets are meant to replace a shirt (or go over one)
