  1. As in, the gap behind the buffer tube with the stock fully extended? I'd leave the re-wiring until after you've fitted the rail. A li-po may well fit inside, and that'll save you a lot of effort on the wires as well retain your stock adjustment for you.
  2. Gym shut? No weights in your room? Not a problem. Two all-metal assault rifle type AEGs in one hand: Sorted for bicep curls.

  4. Can't see a problem with any of those. I'd add a low-pro gas block to the list, but other than you should be fine. Whether a li-po will fit inside the LaRue rail I couldn't say, I've not actually seen one in person, but I suppose you can always got for a PEQ if worst comes to worst. That would be the advantage with going for the Laylax 10.5" barrel instead of the Dytac, apart from the increase in quality, it's already got the battery space cut out underneath.
  5. _kid: I'd be sure to pick up a fair few extended mags and an RA-T extended mag catch, you're going to be doing a lot of reloads. It never surprises me how fast I burn through the normal mags, and I use mine with an ACOG in a DM type role.
  6. As good as PTS stuff is for airsoft, I just can't help noticing the fact that there is a tangible difference in quality. It's hard to exactly put in to words, but the RS gear just has that extra sort of sharply-edged, solid, more 'heavy' feeling to it, like it belongs on a real gun. I highly doubt that a PTS AFG actually weighs more than a couple of grams less than the real equivalent ( if indeed there is any difference at all), but when you hold it in your hand you just sense there is a difference. Shame that it's so much of a *fruitcage* pain in the *albartroth* to get hold of over her
  7. Yes, somebody has actually bought some of those things. That was me. Anyway, before I start posting pics of guns I'd like to give a big thanks for Frogfish for being an all round top bloke and shipping some of the parts over to me so that I can use all RS Magpul stuff in the build, cheers mate. So yeah, fairly substantial update to my WOC collection, big enough to warrant a photoshoot and a post I figured. The original 'set' as it were, was based on an M7A1 and a Sentry which I chopped and changed, bought some extra barrels, receivers and other parts. Nabbed myself another whole

  9. Just fire off the action to relieve the pressure on the hammer spring at the end there huh? Oh how many times I've tried to do that with an AEG.. and then googled picard doing the facepalm, printed it out and stuck it to my own forehead. Bolt release on an AK is just sweet, sounds bloody great on your gun Azn. Wish the cocking handle on my King Arms went back far enough to hook in to the notch on my selector.
  10. I'm not a part of your system. MAAAN!

  11. Ah, well I would not know you see, for I do not own a box of x's. I like to apologise to everyone in the thread for not doing some proper, in-depth research before I posted the above quip regarding a fictional stellar body from a Sci-Fi FPS game. I shall ensure that I am suitably pelted with rotten tomatoes by the local peasants while clamped in to the stocks for a few hours later on today.
  12. Not at all, the wood just looks very red and that amused me. They're fine though.

  14. I always advocate the SOCOM myself, more reliable battery system. Plus you can use whatever stock you like.
  15. Who designed 'em? Ann Summers?
  16. Yep, a lot of it comes from the trigger guard areas with SERPAs, that's where the adjustment screw is after all. Something a lot of people don't notice is the sort of bow-shaped thin plastic piece that sits inside just below the area where the release button is affixed, and that is a major component in the holsters' function.
  17. Definite RVG candidate, adds that extra vertical pillar to the pistol grip + mag combo. It's hard to quite explain why, there's just something about having the grip/mag/VFG all sticking down that looks way cooler than a normal handguard.

  22. So what editing do you actually do? Because that original looks a lot lot different compared to the end result.
  23. Lovely as the gun is, I'd actually rather get some details about how you manage to make your photography look sweeter than Beyoncés' rear end.
