What are you looking for, anyway? Why would you search 'airsoft' on and airsoft forum?

but, there are a lot of electrical technical questions. about batteries, chargers, mosfets, trigger swtichs, motors, etc etc etc (yes, i'd class motors as electrical and not mechanical)

well for those situations you can use the existing non subforum forum. if that makes sense. then, once the cuase has been identified, it can be moved.
Failing that, an 'other' category, as well.
i just think it could clean up the forum a lot.

Simple to suggest, probably a nightmare to implement.
Split the technical forum into two seperate subforums (excluding projects/pistols) and have quite simply 'electrical' and 'mechanical', then the relevant threads moved into the correct forum.
Electrical subforum for all electrics, batteries, chargers, mosfets, wiring, etc etc etc
mechanical for gears, compression, springs and the like.
Just an idea.
Thoughts?

5 months, no krylon, no refund. Finally got my money back after much kicking and screaming. No excuse, wont ever EVER use them, especially not for anything more than a fiver!

I'm not sure i'd like that. When looking for various information for my car, i searched about 3 different forums, plus a good hour online googling things. all i really wanted to know was which headlight bulbs it took, and if it was possible to change them for better ones (i have non-halogen bulbs - lol!). If a forum wouldn't let me post for a week after i'd registered, i'd go somewhere else.
Maybe a probationary period would be better? say, 1 month. break ANY rule and you get permabanned. (including sig limits

just bought one of these, in blue, for £90. needs around £40's worth of work doing to it to get it through its MOT, which i get at trade price anyway, BARGAIN!
also just bought two Skean Dubh blades to make into Skean Dubh's for me and my best man at my wedding. Ebony handle definately, as bog oak is expensive, hard to get, hard to work on, and expensive, and with an umbrella corp. logo inlay, i'm thinking...

just a quick suggestion, many (pretty much all of them, in fact) of the other forums i use have a 'preview' type function which shows you the first few sentances of a thread without having to click into the thread itself, by hovering the mouse over the link. i personally find it really usefull in deciding if i want to read a thread or not, or if it even has any relevance to me.
another niggly thing, the date sorting of threads is still not working for me. example:
any ideas on how to fix the date issue, and thoughts on the hover preview thing?

also, please contact Modify and get them to release that anti-reversal latch! being able to rotate/allign it with the gearbox closed would be a GODSEND. so much so, i'm considering taking a dremel to my existing ones....

yeah. fair enough, the CA is only $550 or whatever in the states, but at certain UK retailers its over $800. which makes this, at around $360, an absolute bargain.

no and no. Scaar (he's got a webpage with LOTS of very expensive rare guns and stuff) has one, and with the hand pump thingy you use to charge the shells, its very easy to get it to fire insanely high amounts over forum limits.
they fly well though, i think. The review doesnt appear to be working...

There is a section for pistols, and a section for Sniper rifles. fair enough, there isnt for accessories, but there're so many it'd be really hard to do. same with AEG's.

I for one like the silencer. I really dont like seeing pistols with silencers longer than the damned gun itself. i think it looks really good.
SD slides are nice quality, too... although, you DO pay for it.

I might not need the take down catch detente spring (i haven't taken the trigger unit apart.) bu ti definately need the slide stop spring (lost it earlier) and the other one.
Where abouts do i get these steel parts then? not seen them anywhere...

the part numbers for what i need are:
KJW: 28, 27, 39, 30, and 46
TM: P226-29, P226-41, P226-30, P226-48, P226-32.

as for teh '226, i've broken the hammer, the left side of the hammer unit housing, i've bent the push pin that holds the hammer housing the the frame, and i've also broken the firing pin
i also appear to be missing springs number: 48, 47, and 54.
help!
