woo! go R22!
-
Nope, because the 104 has a thread size upward of 20!
i believe the thread size is 21mm by 1.5
cannot confirm that right now.

<snip>
On the pbs-5 I just stole the idea from trapper industries and modified it to suit my tastes:
Trapper...yeah...right... like THEY could ever build something like that...
/me knows more than you.
i also know exactly how much money they make on that....
-
the inaccuraces on the CA 'slr' are enough to stop me buying that.
why should the ones on the ICS be any different?
-
Anyone got a spare set of AK screws? speicifcally the front sight one, and the four that hold the trigger gaurd on. i've lost the *fruitcage*ers.
-
whats the muzzle thread?
-
do i get your ops marlowe?
-
and i need a sample for....err.... bayonet attachability?
-
Dirty Santa: i love you! thats an AWESOME piece of kit!
the woods too 'clean' though...
-
now THATS a PBS-5
must admit, AKS-74U with a PBS-5 is very much one of the sexiest guns. ever.
-
i see.....
still doesnt look right.
off topic: Dirty Santa, did you not buy a PBS-5 off me?
-
....erm, how do you fill the shells with gas?
do the shells 'eject' when you open the breech?
any idea on reliability of the shells?
-
from the three silencers on that page, i highly doubt it to be honest.
"US Mfg Russian style PBS5 fake suppressor. Use this to bring your krink to legal 16.125" (actually about 16.75 OAL) or use it as a add on take off for your Ak74 rifle. 24mm thread. Made from CNC turned 6061 alum and then hardkoted."
notice the "bring your krink to leagal 16.125 OAL" i dont know what that means, but its sure as hell not airsoft.
"Russian style PBS5 "fake" suppressor for the Yugo M92 krink kit. Made from 6061 alum, finished matte hardkote black. If ordered with a M92 parts kit the extension is $100.00"
'fake' becuase its not an accurate representation of the PBS-5. the front sections horribly wrong on ALL of them.
"Like our PBS5 can for the Bulgarian krinks and 74s, we took that diameter, shortened it, and ran the thread pattern to the Yugoslavian M92 krink. Made from 6061 alum and matte black hardkote annodized."
Just a shorter/slimmer version of one of the others.
from this infromation, i gather this to be a Real Steel suppressor, and therefore, license requiring.
whoever *had* the suppressor, could you confirm or deny this please?
-
which is why the site selling it is *also* selling Fire Control Groups for AKs, and gas pistons.
not an accurate representation of the PBS-5 either.
go check out the Red-Alliance, im sure somebody there might have some for sale...
(mods, if that was too much of an advert, please remove, cheers)
-
dont you need a license for that as its a real suppressor?
-
....wasnt the price originally around £100? $250 is quite a jump.
-
Weasel, give me time. i have a cunning plan....
-
Nice AK's guys!
Santa: glad to see its found a home
On a side note, i can supply replica PBS-1 and PBS-5 silencers to those that want them. theres a new batch coming in a few weeks, and adding a few to it would be no problem.
Please, contact me on the RA about this (www.red-alliance.net) as i know that Arnies doesnt *really* condone commercial sales.
did i mention full internal baffles?
-
Agreed. wouldn't mind a good game of chess every now and then...
-
Curveball = WIN! its like 3d pong....
-
load it like a GBB mag. upside down, so the gas can is squirting downwards.
as for the ammo....no idea. just see what works.
Which make is that, btw?
-
For the love of god! put the flash hider back on! PLEASE!
and if you must give it the chop, put the FLASH HIDER BACK ON!
-
does czecslovakia really count as eastern europe?
Yes, Ubar. the Czech Republic, as it is now, is widely considered to be 'Eastern Bloc', as it was under communist control at some point. ergo, its the closest us russian 'softers can get.
Darklite, yes, they're fine, but the recoil spring is a *badgeress*.
