BTW, how do you shop for holsters for railed 1911s? different brands seems to have different rail...

I think Kimber is not really "classic" though, but it is certainly not as new age maybe. But TBH is SAI any more modern than say, what SVI and STI have been making in terms of 1911s? I want the SAI kit because its a commander size 1911, which is kinda hard to come by in TM form....I hope now Nova will venture into making more custom 1911s, Still waiting for someone to make a commander length or full size SVI 1911 with LDC... I don't know why they don't...

What exactly is the difference of the MEU BBU vs the 1911/Hi-Capa one? I've built so far I think 5 Hi-Capa/1911 guns and I've not had a MEU at all...I took a stock BBU I have and tried to see the difference to the SAI kit and is it just one of the rear "leg" of the BBU that needed to be cut? Or is it something else? -

Does this work with the something like the Nova SAI kit? I've no idea the custom rear sight on that kit is similar to MEU or normal 1911.... -
I actually was very tempted by the Commander sized SAI kit....at the time though I did not have a budget for it...now I might...
