Found a spare recoil spring, I think from one of the Hi-Capa build before, and replaced it on the gun and seems to have made a difference...

KWA HK45 + RA Tech steel slide and 16mm threaded barrel. I can probably use this as a hammer... Shooting it the recoil seems fine, but manually racking the slide it feels like the recoil spring needs to be stiffer...

The thing I don't like about Marui's, its that KSC/KWA's factory frame is always nicer than Marui's... Also atm the RA-Tech's steel barrel, at least the threaded version, looks nicer in KWA with the 16mm+ thread...

Well I got the tan M&P that VFC made. For a stock gun its really nice, feels a bit nicer than their Walther IMO. The fiber sight is neat. Too bad not too many parts are for it. I hope change the recoil spring since it feels kinda weak. I feel a bit of an itch to take the soldering iron to it too...

Post-frame painting....at least the frame itself is mostly the same color now... Also took sometimes to reinforce the screwpost for this new frame since I didn't do it before...

The physical width of the RS mount was not wide enough for the mounting bumps on the receiver.

I am wondering about the "ovalness" of the hole for the barrel in the side, since they will affect how much "tilt" you can get out of the barrel for removal. The slide I am running now is the newer gen Guarder slide, maybe they changed it. The older slide when I had it even had trouble removing the non-threaded barrel sometimes IIRC.

The one I did with Guarder's frame didn't turn out so great. I posted here a few pages back... I am thinking about doing this... The one piece Guarder on mine can be disassembled without taking out the BBU. Not sure what the difference is.

Question for those with VFC MP5K GBB, anyone tried to put an optic mount on it? I got a KZ low profile mount and the mounting point seems physically too wide to use fit the mount. Got a cheapo mount from Amazon and its the same...

I'd imagine its easier than shooting a C-more though. I've been shooting Hi-capa on C-more before and that requires a different sight alignment completely being so high off the bore axis. The RMR being as low as they are the position won't be as specialized....
