  1. WA 1911A1 with a PGC slide, silver 2011-style threaded barrel, and walnut grips. Everything (except the grips) was bought second hand. I would really like to buy a silencer and a full length recoil spring setup, if anyone has one.
  2. Dude, the driver really sucks at parallel parking.
  3. Cool, thanks! Might have to get one. The problem with it not firing is similar to light strikes on a GBB, right? Maybe the shells need to be lubed/broken in, but I'm not sure how they work. By knocking the hammer I meant accidentally hitting it while in it's down position, and causing a round to discharge, without the gun being cocked or the trigger being pulled (as in an accidental discharge). If the hammer itself is responsible for firing (unlike the PEGASUS revolvers, where the hammer hits a plate which is attached to something that knock the valve open to fire) then i'm interested
  4. Does it happen with duster, only something you've only noticed with propane? If you knock the hammer when it's down without pulling the trigger, will the gun fire? And lastly, where did you get yours from?
  5. Was it hard to learn to do checkering, renegadecow? I would have figured it to be something that takes months to learn. Got any pictures? Very nice grips by the way. I'll have to work on my woodworking skills a bit more...

  7. Good point. I remember playing with a stupid button that plugs into the USB port of your PC and when you press it, it brings you to a website. They're pretty stupid, but cool in a way. I don't think anyone would buy those, and they would probably cost too much to give away. Although I'd still like a baseball cap, or maybe a fedora with a ribbon with the Arnies Airsoft logo stitched in. How much (about) does this website get from a Cafepress item?
  8. Does this count? It'll shoot airsoft BBs, thought not quite as fast or powerful as anything posted so far. With the exception of one piece on the weight where I ran out of use able material and had to use a piece of white ash, it's all a home-sawed shag bark hickory fire log. It was cut up while it was green and all of the structural parts are sapwood. The basket part is a folded folder, and the weight is mostly lead, with a wood capsule around it to keep things from getting too messy or hazardous. A clip of it firing. I didn't think I could capture BBs in flight, so
  9. It's a US nickel, which according to Wikipedia has a diameter of 21.21 mm or 0.835 in.
  10. Soap? Cheese? Closest guess was ivory. It's actually a beef soup bone, cut and shaped with a it of auto body filler (Bondo) to fill in the back and make it flat. They're really flawed and pretty much unusable cause one's too thick and the other has a messed up screw hole, but it was still an educational experience making them. They're so blurry because I tried to give them a polished look and finished them with a clear gloss, so the camera flash was a little too harsh.
  11. Not the best photo, but here's my newly acquired WA 1911A1 with a bit of a custom twist: Imaginary +1 to the person that can guess what the grips are made of.
  12. Sorry to tell you, but so is your outer barrel. Not sure why they would do that, though, since copper isn't exactly cheap... I like what you've done with it, regardless of what certain parts of the gun are made of.
  13. Very nice. What kit is that specifically? Did that foregrip require any modding to get to fit?

  15. Why not just remove the selector knob? Finally got my M14 almost exactly how I want it: Still needs a bit of scope adjustment I think, since it'll shoot near on at 100 feet, but be way off (like a foot) at 20, so I think the rail needs to be leveled a bit more. Otherwise, might want to get a new front sight, and a paint job. Anyone know what "M82" means on the ammo box? As far as I could figure out it was the designation code thing for blanks.
  16. That's awesome! I wouldn't have thought an iron sword could look like that after being buried underground for so long. The only thing I've ever found buried in the ground was rusty nails...
  17. Only just had a problem with connecting earlier today. I've been having problems with slowness recently too. I'm not sure if has anything to do with it, but I've recently noticed that there seems to have been a lot more guests browsing. There was over 600 on yesterday, at around 2 am eastern US time...
  18. Not a knife, but it has an edge: Was just looking it up, apparently it was manufactured between 1904 and 1930, so it is quite old, which is kind of cool. Wonder if it's worth anything...
  19. Not sure if anyone's mentioned yet, but Redwolf has a few more replacement parts for the WA, including a new loading nozzle: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...menu2=152#24918
  20. I'm liking the way the thermold mags look in the G36. Nice.
  21. Bought some new power tools, so I had decided to break them in by re-attempting my wooden Skorpion grip: A bit better than my previous attempt, but still not as good as I want. Getting rid of the old one(s) if anyone is interested.
  22. Is the front grip/pump handle real-steel? If so, did it take any work to get it to fit? I've read that they require a considerable amount of work to get to fit.
  23. Basically like the old KWC External rig adapters? A small QD attachment for the gas hose screws in to the spot where the fill valve would normally be. I'm not too familiar with external gas rigs, but the adapters are only around $1 each and fit most of the threading for GBB fill valves. You might want to check them out if you haven't already put a lot of effort into designing your own.
