I'm really liking the 17 straight frame. How's its grip, comfort wise?

I would have expected a bit more than that, considering what it does with unheated green and .20s...

 

Have you tried running yours on Red at all? I think I read that Tanakas can take it, but I'd never try it with mine.

What type of range did you go to, indoor or outdoor? I personally didn't feel that the noise was all that bad, really.

 

Like you said, you probably were able to easily shoot consistently is because you have practiced with airsoft so long. My groups were noticeably worse with a real gun than with an airsoft pistol, but my first trip to the range my shots were way worse than the second time I went, which was after I began shooting airsoft guns.

I've noticed this "forum quietness" too. I read threads, log off, then return several hours later to find the same thread with no new replies halfway down the page with only a few hot topics above it. I haven't been here for a year, so I don't know what it's like this time of year, but I don't recall the forum being this slow around January, when it was also cold.

 

I haven't noticed any big sell-offs, but I'm hardly ever in the Sale Forum, let alone the UK one.
