It's been covered, but the main difference is seeing the reticle itself. I can't really describe it, it's something that you need to see for yourself, but if I were to try, then the real one is much more crisp and clear than the fakie. Plus, the fake one reflects off itself. A lot.

If you can get your hands on one, the G&G SS100 doesn't look half bad on it. A bit stubby, but it's okay, as seen in an old photo of mine here. A cheaper look alike would be the AMP Pistol Silencer.
