  1. I had the first generation ACM JPC, that one looks a helluva lot better. I assumed it was Crye.
  2. For what it's worth, here is the TAG one moutned on my JPC replica It is very boxy, but I don't have any overhang, which is really all I care about. It seems closer to 500d in feel than 100d, but that's just a shot in the dark, no facts. I could take a better photo for you if need be.
  3. This might seem like a strange request, but does anyone have a picture of a mounted on an underfolder AK? I've been playing around with the idea in my head, but google only gave me one result.
  4. This thread needs more simplicity Just a CYMA, but I like my refinished handguards better than the stock redish. If anyone knows how to tighten up the underfolding stock let me know!
  5. The phalanx series is 500d as well. I'm not sure what it is about the phalanx rigs but when I had mine it just wasn't comfortable.
  6. Frogfish is correct. But some quality foam from knifekits and make the press yourself
  7. Recently got in to making some Kydex holsters and this is the most recent creation for my USP compact tactical. Spray painted it so it didn't stick out like a sore thumb on my kit.
  8. That would be a logical guess, but since I don't have the magazine seeing as how I borrowed it hopefully someone here can answer that.
  9. Just an update, I borrowed a friend's mag this weekend again as I wanted to do one last testing in my gun before purchasing. After the match I was stuck admining (As our team was hosting) So I was stationed on a platform roughly 20 feet in the air watching the action. Pre-game I dropped his mag down so he could catch it but he didn't. The spring is now stuck down in the bottom of the mag, and since there is no visible way to get the spring out it is stuck. We tried banging it against a hard surface to unjam it to no avail.
  10. Just waiting around in the staging area before a local pick-up game
  11. It appears to me to be the Shellback Tactical Banshee plate carrier.
  12. I agree completely with hunk. I wear a MR sized BDU and the medium night parka went to just above my knees. I bet you could run a large or maybe even a medium
  13. I have an friend that seems to be about your size with the same rig. What he did was just remove the buttpack and bypass it. That took off loads of space and he loves the rig now. Granted, you loose the GP space of the pack, but I guess that's the price you have to pay.
  14. kingdong, I must say, that 416 is looking hot
  15. Well I'm here again with some work that isn't exactly needlework, nor nearly impressive as what some of you guys are doing, but it's still custom to some extent. It's a ittle mod I just did to a Camelbak Bottle I received from my girlfriend for Christmas. Simple and effective. Camelbak better bottle Surgical Tubing Hydrastorm bite valve. Fits perfect in an MBITR pouch.
  16. If you are willing to take a cut to the number of magazines, you may want to look at the new TAG Phalanx chest rigs. Only 4 in the rig but they claim to be universal. I ordered one and it will be arriving next week. I'll make sure to fill everyone in.
  17. Moses, I have to say, that right there is a beautiful weapon.
  18. Just picked up those MOABs for stupid cheap at a salvage store. I haven't had a chance to wear them around yet, but they look very promising.
  19. I have been running a PALS micro rig for quitet some time now. (It can be seen a few pages back.) I'm a lefty, so the .308 micro rig wasn't set up for me so I opted for hte pals version so I could rearrange the pouches to my stle. It's a great vest. I still haven't gotten around to getting the enhance h-harness, but it might be something you will want to look into.
  20. Does anyone have a date for the rifle and midlength MOE handguards? I've called them and searched and all I get is Summer of 2010. Summer is almost over.
  21. LA Police Gear Tactical Operator’s pants (Elastic Waistband) In the search for something different, I found myself looking at many brands of “Tactical Pants”. Woah was there a lot to choose from. Seeing how this was a new style that I wanted to only wear on occasion, I opted for the cheapest of the brands. The LA Police Gear Tactical Operator’s pants run just under $20 from their website ($19.95 actually). For $20 I figured, even if they were ###### and they ripped apart in a week, it wouldn’t be that big of a loss. Pockets: These pants boast a plethora of pockets. There are 10 symme
  22. Man, I'm usually a fan of traditional m14s, but that gun is beautiful. I agree with Vainguard, just leave it the way it is!
  23. Well I realize this doesn't actually classify as "needlework", but it is custom, and it is a piece of gear!
