  1. Pretty much all the GAU/GUU-5s have been upgraded to M4 status. I know our SERE guys still have some GAUs in their armory, but it's just the lower that's original. The upper and trigger group are all M4 specs.
  2. You can pick up the ABS-G combat shirts from USCav, but they run around $200. I'll wait 'till I get issued one.
  3. No pilot I've ever met, or seen downrange (and I know a lot of pilots), has ever carried a Sig. The only AF personnel I've seen carry Sigs are AFOSI.
  4. Is that duct tape over his M203? Interesting, never seen that before...
  5. Kraut, that loadout looks great - definitely got the FF look going. I don't remember seeing you at Irene, though. Unfortunately we were taking so many pictures of TFR during the first scenario that no one got any of us (that we've seen anyways). But here's me and the good colonel: The beard came off as soon as I got home, it was driving me nuts.
  6. CZ, looks great as usual - your AKSU is a thing of beauty. I don't suppose you're planning on coming over to our neck of the woods in November for Ivan Hammer?
  7. My freedom fighter loadout for OP:I-VI
  8. That is, quite possibly, the most amusing thing I've ever heard.
  9. Best picture of me. Ever.
  10. We've finally been issued our DF-LCS (Defensor Fortis Load Carriage System). As you can see, it's ACU - the Air Force will not be issuing combat gear in the ABU pattern: Pretty much all Eagle Industries stuff, I probably would've picked different pouches, but hey, not my choice. Still haven't received first line yet. Once we do, stuff will get moved around again. IBA pouches include: 2x 3xM16 mag 4x 2xM16 mag 2x single baseball grenade 3x single M9 mag 1x handcuff pouch 1x IFAK pouch 1x MBITR pouch (back) 2x 1L water bottle pouch (back) 1x hydro/Camelbak
  11. From Hickam's website: Hickam is home to many active duty units - mainly the 15th AW, but there's quite a few tenant units, as well.
  12. PJ, even our helmet covers and IBA covers are being done in ACU, not ABU. I know that there are some commercial ABU helmet covers out there, but they are not authorized (of course, why would they be? That would just make sense.) We are also all issued Safariland 6005 holsters for our Berettas - but unfortunately, ours are black, not FDE.
  13. Missed a wee bit on your forward assist, but other than that, looks phenomenal.
  14. I recommend them to everyone who asks about them, and then I show them the 3" scar on my knee. Best of all is they're cheap - right now you can get them for under twenty bucks from Tactical Products Group. And thanks, the SAW's my baby...no way I'd ever have her if I didn't work for an airsoft shop!
  15. A. The helmet's cocked due to my damn headset. B. I have a MICH, but I usually run with my shooter's cap anyways. Helmets were required for this op, and I was carrying enough weight as it was. (it was in a Titan nuclear missile base). Kitlist: 5.11 HRT boots Tru-Spec blouse and trousers Issue rigger's belt Protec B2 Skate helmet KP Industries kneepads. These were recommended to me by a Tulsa SWAT operator. The finest kneepads I've ever owned. I tore my knee open on a steel I-beam a year and a half back, so I take knee protection pretty seriously. Blackhawk SOLAG glove
  16. Finally got a picture of me in my full loadout:
  17. One of the berets I had made up for the Spokane Airsoft league's team leaders and op admins: Had the beret flashes made up at Striking Graphics and Embroidery ( http://strikinggraphics.com ), they did a great job with them.
  18. My primary sans AG36. I'm going to have to figure out how to get a better battery in this sucker and wire it to the rear, as I only got 1000 shots off before it died. A 4x scope is in the works, too, as it really has some range with the Prometheus tightbore.
  19. The Department of Energy guys I trained with a couple of months ago had a lot of MC kit. Didn't get pics as a lot of the stuff we were doing was classified.

For the record, I have had several (5+) LE individuals order these UTG foregrips from us for use on their "real steel" M4s. They love 'em. UTG/Leapers actually makes many parts for live weapons - you should see Leapers' website. Now, back to our regularly scheduled obscenely expensive replicas...
  21. I'm running an Intellect 9.6v 1400mAh mini nunchuck battery. It's a PAIN to get in there. Also, even though a large handguard will fit on a G36K, the launcher will not without serius modifications to the outer barrel. I tried - I would've rather had the K than the full length G36.
  22. My new baby - as soon as we got the AG36s in our store, I knew I had to have one: CA G36/AG36 G36C top rail Promethius 509mm tightbore Systema M120 PPA G36 magwell conversion Go~Gear custom sling I must say, getting the battery in this thing is more difficult than the customised Crane stock I had on my M4.
