  1. Took a look at my own MSK. If you have either a JG or AGM GBBR outer barrel, no need for shims - the barrels look thick enough to drop in.
  2. NonEx, you might want to put a Maple Leaf hop in there. Mine has the 70 degree one I think, and oh god, does it raep. Combined with a properly zeroed magnified optic (mine was an Acog) and some .36 bbs, it can consistently get headshots, near-ish, probably around 100 feet (I suck at judging distances) with the stock inner barrel. I swear, this thing is a laser.
  3. Got mine this week, just skirmished it today. Right out of the box, the FPS on this thing is ridongculous. It chronoed at the shop at around 450-460 which is a big no-no for my site (430 FPS max) so I downgraded it right away. Put a Maple Leaf Hop unit in there, and man, this thing shoots far, and straight. I hit the playing head marshal with .36 bbs at around 100 feet (could've been more, I suck at estimating distances), and he was convinced that the gun was over the limit because of how hard the BB hit him and how straight the bb flew. But damn this thing is heavy. With the Aimpoint + Doct
  4. Believe me, once you get that one piece triggerbox, your gun will feel like brand new. Mine was giving me troubles until I forked over money for it - the difference in blowback and performance was night and day.
  5. Renegadecow is plugging up two of my four magazines. To be honest, the problem with this particular gun is the mag, particularly how it's designed. All of my magazines leak, and are beyond my capability to seal, that's why I tossed (the first batch) to him.
  6. What's the FPS out of the box?
  7. I have no choice in the mags, its the only mag that I know of that works in a WA based gun that isn't complete poo and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. As for the torch, I have no idea, it's just a China clone I bought off a friend. The gun is a just a cheap fixer upper I got off a buddy, it's basically an AGM with some upgrades. Works well enough and shoots like a boss. Thank you kindly. Next project is a MK 18 Mod 1 upper receiver.
  8. What's your verdict so far on the MP5K? Good? Bad? Meh?
  9. Yes. But to be fair, my brother and I own like 8 other GBBRs so it doesn't used as much. I rotate gun usage depending on my mood.
  10. There's a metal rod at the end of the magazine that restricts the amount of BB's you can stuff in it. When you sort out your mags when it starts leaking (it will do that, believe me) you can take it out when you take out the baseplate. Increases capacity to 30.
  11. Holy . I want one now. Anyone know if you can put a PDW stock on one of those things?
  12. No upgrade parts. I did set the carrier to the lowest setting for felt recoil, that may be what sped up the ROF.
  13. Video of full auto dump:
  14. TBH, I may actually switch to that aluminum carrier because as much as I like heavy recoil, I like gas efficiency more.
  15. This is my initial review of the VFC UMP .45. While I have had this particular GBBR since May, events have transpired against me actually using it for a while which I will detail below. Many folks have been looking at VFC's second SMG GBB offering with great trepidation considering the whole mess with their gas powered MP5. I was initially not keen on the VFC UMP, but my brother overseas told me to buy one for him so I happily took his money (and some of mine) and bought one from a local retailer with a total of 4 mags for about $555 (yes, we get price gouged here when it comes to airsoft guns
  16. Anyone know Milspec Solution's direct email? Can't seem to contact them via their website.

  17. Looking at the magazine and the slight wear at the end of the bolt of his rifle, I'm going to say it's a WE OB system.
  18. Again, excuse the kitchen counter. Still needs a proper upper rail, then I think it's ready to go.
  19. Mine fits well enough in my Fast Mags. Good retention, doesn't fall out even if I jump.
  20. Since you're essentially taking out all the important CB bits and putting in the OB ones, it shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure to put a shock buffer in the hinge plate so it doesn't crack. If you can, change out the stock hop-up rubber with aftermarket ones. That's it - your gun should be GTG.
  21. Nope, I know what you're talking about, but the magazines are for the NS2/S7 version, and look completely identical.
  22. Yeah, I know. They should be identical. The problem only manifests itself with the KWA mags, with the original mag, the gun works perfectly.
  23. I have a full, trademarked version of this, made in Taiwan by KSC. Because of the dearth of magazines in my country (and because my friend was coming home from the US) I asked him to get extra mags from KWA for the MP9, which I assumed was fully compatible. Well, I found out today there's a bit of an issue with that. The feed lips of the KWA magazines are a little bit thicker than the included KSC magazine that my gun originally came with, and as a result, the gun would erratically stop firing after a round or two. I found out that that extra thickness from the KWA magazines was not allowi
  24. Please don't mind the MP9R.
