  1. Eh, maybe Bond isn't that big in Japan (obviously the racial stereotyping in You Only Live Twice was clearly too much for them)?

That or it is just not possible while maintaining a fully working GBB design? I mean Maruzen surely must have a reason for why they went with the PPK/S and not the PPK given that the /S doesn't really have any significance?

Also second safety lever went. Now it has just used as my spare and when it breaks I will just sell off the parts and mags, not really fussed with it any more :(.

  2. Yeah, Glock and a few others use a thinner but long magazines that is more staggered than stacked in the real world.

But the new ND model of the 6909 (make sure it is the ND model, picture usually shows two M&P mags in it) should take most of the double stacks from other non-Glock models.

I am looking to get one for myself post Christmas so it doesn't get stuck in the four week rush we are about to have on shipping. Plus you can get them for £15 posted from Israel.

  3. Not a fan of the IMI ones myself. Only thing with tight plastic holsters is expected scratches and scuffs when using them for mags and guns.

Yes, I am. It has ND on it, embossed on the outside. They are decent holsters but don't expect them to be infallible, there is always the chance of catching them on something.

Perfect for indoors though, not so much for outdoors in the woods.

  4. How's the fitment on the fobus mag holder? Was looking at those.

Read their paddle holster is not so great?

Try getting a Fobus 6909ND (make sure it is the new ND model), it is meant for non-Glock 9mm double stacks and should fit the M&P9, XDM, USP, SIG and most common airsoft double stacks aside from the Hi-Capa.

I have a pair of the 4500 they do for the 1911 and they are pretty good, just you might need to sand a few bits down if they dig in but that is personal preference. Plus in the US or direct from Israel they are cheap enough to buy.

  5. So... Gamed it today.

Performed really well.. Ended up losing my front sight?! I didn't even notice until teammate pointed it out.

    Urgggg

Had this happy to my XDM when I ran it on Ultra in a warm building. It requires a dab of glue under the sight and another to hold in the clip under the slide that holds the sight on. Still a bugger and just a heads up fir when you replace it.

  6. I can now be a dictator!

Also, by automatic association, my penis is now tiny.

Pfft, it isn't gold plated. I think at the moment you are more LA pimp :P.

    Still, nice gun. Stock Marui?

  7. Well figured out my TM pistol finally :D

    Finally :P.

Though I would get rid of the safety ;).

Also shot mine a bit more, managed a 10p sized grouping at medium speed on a short 3.5m target range. Will extend that out to 5m and try again but it (like the XDM) gives fantastic performance all in all

  8. I have given the shop a shout, they got back to me almost instantly. Then I went to click buy after checking my account and oh look the council took out money about two weeks too early, before I am due to pay it on the first of the month (December that is).

Ah well I am sure I can spare £86 all in for it. PPK/S can just be put back on sale :D.

  9. Eh for the £80 I have seen them at in the UK that can't be bad, plus I only run 144a and Ultra so less likely to be strong gas inflicted issues.

Plus the old Army Detonics I had was fine once it was fed some Ultra, good ammo and a TM mag.

  10. I think a steel received is likely to be made anyway as someone will mention it somewhere and a company will pick up the potential promises that the OEM company failed on.

Still would have been nicer if KWA did it in the first place.

But yes I recall the RW days of Arclight, he splurged a bit on some reviews but at least he gave a shorter, more concise review with less silly BS than what we get now. Still saying that I have never really found any retailer presenter reviews to be that great, mostly as they feel like either they are appealing to idiots or you know that they are trying to sell you the gun and issues will be covered up etc.
