  1. Ok, stupid question time. What exactly does the Breacher look like without the rail? Anyone got a picture as I can't seem to find one on Google which is odd. 'FireKnife'
  2. Really, will it be enough? Personally I have had some bad pistols but this just seems to be going far too far. How much was said plate extra (lets ignore the fact you got it for almost half price) on top of the gun which ideally it should have come with? 'FireKnife'
  3. I find that quality or not the less dense material can either lead to people not feeling glancing hits (if they are caught by the edge of the spray) or still have the potential to shatter more so than a .2 or .25. However it would be good to see it tested and see how it works. The comments I have made about .12s are from a variety including some of the better ones that still had issues. 'FireKnife'
  4. Then there is something very, very wrong with you . Though I might pop by this weekend coming and see what it looks like, not buy it just see. 'FireKnife'
  5. That's because you look stupid in it. Just like I do in mine . 'FireKnife'
  6. Actually it isn't bad at all. I mean the worn edges help but in the case of the hanguard it can get too warm if used under sustained fire, could warp and even burn depending on the application just would have to be something specific. Have never been a huge fan of artificial weathering and some guns just need to be played with than played around with but as it stands it looks used and better than it probably did when brand new from an objective standpoint. 7. Heavily contemplating a KJ CZ75 but haven't heard the best news in the world about them. Finger hovering over that 'buy' button.

Cutting down the mainspring, replacing the recoil spring with one a little stronger, and filing down the left of the valve knocker fixes all the inherent problems with the gun that I've experienced. Followed GlockworkOrange's video, it's in the thread!

I will have a look, but I thought that was for the P-09 and not the base level CZ75?

I have the flu - misread your post. Many apologies.

  8. Don't do it, think of the children, won't somebody please think of the children!? Plus I am tempted to go and fondle the shop model that they have so you might be getting the one I stroked and nobody wants anything I have stroked . 'FireKnife'
  9. Haha well there is only really four Scottish sites I know that look like that and two of them aren't on those Sundays . Plus PoW does do a great game, haven't been in a while due to commitments and weather though, plus that and trying to play every site I can in the Central Belt. 'FireKnife'
  10. I'm glad my game was indoors . Is that PoW or Land Warrior you were at, looks like either of them and Section 8 doesn't run on those Sundays. 'FireKnife'
  11. It could but you have missed out one key fact. The weight of a .12g means they can shatter a lot, lot easier and that is not good for the likes of mesh users. In fact many are made from such poor material that sites ban them in case of shatter. While it is a sound enough idea it might be dangerous. Also another thing, the lighter weight can lead to less felt hits. It is all well and good when you get a good 5 pellets hit on someone but if one or two clip a plate carrier or pouch at speed they are probably not even going to be noticed. 'FireKnife'
  12. I have a feeling I will stick to the Breacher, easier to run in the places I play plus I don't really trust the average airsofter to not makign something of the fact I am using a scattergun powered by CO2, even if it is low 200fps if possible. TM tri-shot for me but I am sure if ever 3-gun airsoft or PSG airsoft was more popular I might try it. Still trying to sort the idea of doing pistol competitions round here and that is tough enough as most of it is general interest but nothing solid. 'FireKnife'
  13. That for me just sounds like it is tipping the fun / useable scales too much. I am a huge fan of playing with something different. Hell if I get the Breacher I am so playing woodland with it one day but this to me feels a bit too much in the realism over function stakes. Saying that it can also depend on the site. I find many sites in the UK that are indoors like to get you out of the game zone / to the next game point ASAP once the game is over, that means a lap to pick up wads wouldn't work as well. For me I think based on limitations it would be best to stick to gas pistols and
  14. It is when it works out cheaper than buying it at the 'recommended' CG price of $225: http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=225&From=USD&To=GBP That isn't adding in the profit margins and taxes. Well done CG, you fail. 'FireKnife'
  15. Shop down the road has these in stock: http://www.airsoftworld.net/cybergun-fnx-45-tactical-gbb-gbb-airsoft-pistol-with-full-trades.html Very tempted to go give it a poke and see how awful it is. Plus I still doubt it is £137.50 of quality . Though the Hickok45 reference on their page did make me laugh a tad. 'FireKnife'
  16. I am at work at the moment and using the hosting space is blocked as it is meant for work purposes, hence why I said I will do it later as web hosting is being a jebend and at home I don't have to worry about it . 'FireKnife'
  17. He might implode, be careful . However it is down to users to divert topics back as they see fit. If you want to go to a place with more specific topics that people stick rigirously too then I am sure they exist. Here it is a mish-mash of things but for many that is how we like it, makes it easier to chat rather than sticking to 'this is a topic about this gun, you will only talk about this gun, nothing else'. In fact if that was the case would we then not end up with too many topics open in case someone wnated to talk about something else. Swings both ways and seems to be best as it is .
  18. I think that can be said of most WAs given they are made in limited batches etc. I have seen only one other of those and that was ages ago. Still at some point I wouldn't mind owning a WA 1911 but as I already have all the parts and setups for my TMs it feels a touch redundant aside from having it as a display piece. Also there would be a picture of my 1911s here but alas my usual image hosting in being a sod. Will put them up later on. 'FireKnife'
  19. It is the discuss whatever people want to discuss thread. Pointing out every thread that you like that goes off topic just seems pedantic. Just steer the thread back the way you want by asking or adding something as you did in your following post . However it is related, I was pointing out that while I see the fun factor there just doesn't seem to be much in the way of loading that isn't cumbersome and more designed for practical shooting than combat which was relating to in airsoft how realistic feeding shotguns feel a bit like realistic feeding revolvers, heavily limited though at least
  20. There making a USP and have a USPc releasing soon. Expect me to have pics of mine up when they are out UK side. 'FireKnife'
  21. In that case would not hip fire or just bothering to invest in a folding stock for your troops help? In fact doesn't that model have a folding stock anyway? Also sidearms help. But yes that over the shoulder thing has it's uses when you have a wrong gun in the wrong place situation but when it comes to a typical game and people just don't know which bits goes where then it makes me laugh. 'FireKnife'
  22. One of me looking about as tactical as a badger: ' 'FireKnife'
  23. I think in the realms of airsoft running a Saiga would just be like running a GBB or AEG anyway unless you made it multi-shot which would be kinda cool. 'FireKnife'
  24. Because a stripper clip of 5 rifle bullets takes up less space than two shotgun shells side by side. It is just due to the ammo being fired that makes it less practical in the field over other things. Hence why shotguns are often used in combat with either a specific purpose or it is because that is all the attacker has (given that it is easier to buy a shotgun in some places than a handgun ot rifle). I see the point in matches and such but as for airsoft in terms of a skirmish I will stick to things like the Marui system . 'FireKnife'
  25. That to me looks about as practical as taking a Bren gun to an indoors semi only game with lots of tight corners . 'FireKnife'
