After having seen the VFC AIMS in person, if you skimp and get a cheaper version, you're really missing out! That thing was beautiful external wise! Especially the receiver. I'm not too interested in an AIMS myself but I'm really looking forward to VFC's AKM and AK74m MUCH more now.

Probably. I got mine from boom arms. I'm sure if you just ask them to get the shiny version for you they'll do it.

Youch! Sorry to see that RS. If anything, you can maybe try getting those parts from wherever you purchased your rifle.

If you're going to order one of these AKs and worried about the bolt breaking, just tell the store employee to remove the bolt from the rifle before it gets shipped. Literally takes a few seconds to do.

It was a tight fit for me too, but I didn't have to alter anything. Just had to press them in with the back of a screwdriver or what have you.

So you finally got one of these AKs RS! Good man, good. So far mine has been doing pretty good. I put metal bushings on it, upgraded the barrel to a DB 6.01 and changed the hopup to an element. Its shooting pretty good still but I want to chrono it next and check on the consistency from shot to shot. As for the sling it comes with, I used it for 1 game and it felt pretty cheap and loud. I honestly didn't trust it considering the weight of these rifles, so I quickly replaced it with a real russian ak slings. I've got some if you want one for your AK. The swivel on mine has held up q

Beautiful man! If I ever get one of these, its exactly what I want. The only difference is I would paint the stock and pump handle brown to give it a 'wood' look and make it look less modern. Thanks again for the info and posting in here buddy.

If you look closely, some of the trademarks are visible on the frame in some pictures but not in others. I believe they edited them off for some reason or something. Not sure whats up.

First I'd like to thank you for writing up the quick reviews for us. Mucha gracias amigo! One of the main things I want to know about this shotgun though is how many shots you get off of each full gas charge. When I owned the 8mm version, reloading the BBs and the gas on top of that was very impracticle ingame. With the 250+ shots you say it holds, thats plenty for me. If it holds enough gas for all those shots, it would be perfect. So if you get a chance, try to see how many shots you get with one gas charge. Thanks!

Strange on the problems you guys are getting with the kalash rifles. Do you both have RK02s? I have the 03 and I've been folding/unfolding the stock as well as slamming the bolt forward quite alot and I don't see any sign of those parts breaking. Maybe its a problem specific to the 02s?

Last few pages of pictures have had some real head turners thats for sure! Very nice AKs guys. Kalash AKS-74 with POSP scope, real steel sling, and bulgarian drop case. -Upgraded with DBCustom 6.01 barrel and guarder clear bucking. Its shooting quite nice now very happy with it.

Hey the first review of the RS T56 I run across. Thanks snorkelman, well done! Too bad about the trademarks. I wonder if this will carry over to their other rifles they plan to release.
