if your ras is moving side to side, you may wish to ensure the grub screw under the front sight is tight aswell as the clamp locking screw.

dunno if this is the kinda thing your after.

if it means that much to ya send it back. it'll look worse than that after its first skirmish anyway!

From Stock WA Marsoc Added a full Prime metal kit and Hogue grips turned into Added loads of other little parts inside, but most noticably added the Surefire 610r

finished my loadout today. 610r compatible Safariland 6004 (also got one in tri desert) Hi-Res Also Pictured with my SF6P in a BHI CQC compact flashlight pouch and CRKT First strike attached.

the metal part on the grip holds the pressure pad fixed in position, and yes the slide stop secures the unit + one grub screw in the bottom of the unit to the gun. its very solid and aint coming off.

steel tiger your best bet is to contact star direct i'd imagine. they should be able to supply u with a complete gearbox and barrel. i've also found war4toys very good for getting complete gearboxs instock where other retailers have failed. ( http://www.airsoft-war4.com/ ) so shoot them over an e-mail aswell. Lt. ebay for the inert rounds. box magazine wise any of the HK retailers sell them. dunno if state side retailers do, but if they stock star products i'd imagine they could get it in for you.
