  1. The Hi Capa has a cone shaped outer barrel. If you wanted to run that outer barrel you would need a bushing set, I know SD makes them, but you would need to also have a SD slide.
  2. The barrel is the same length as the Hi Capa. It will "handle" green gas stock. Trinity Airsoft sells them with metal tape over the trades. Here. But I would email and make sure this batch came in that way. I purchased mine from Trinity and it came with trades and the orange only on the outer barrel.
  3. The SD frame for the marui is die-cast not cnc'd. Not that SD doesn't bump the price for WA stuff, but this time there is somewhat of a reason.
  4. Ah, that would explain the 3 inch exhaust. I remember us running much larger exhausts on the RB26. I always wanted a Pulsar, so I ended up buying an Eclipse GSX, closest I could get in the US.
  5. What RB, 25 or 26? I used to work for HKS (thus my name) and let me tell you RBs are interesting powerplants. I still remember listening to Nick Wongs R32 on the dyno to tune it with Signal Auto's old drag motor. What turbines are you using?
  6. SD = Shooters Design Everything but the gun (Trinity Airsoft) and the body (AEX) was bought from either Dentrinity, WGC, or UNCompany.

  8. The Nine Ball SAS outer barrel is really nice. Light enough that the gun will cycle with a light weight suppressor on it. The PDI unit attaches to the inner barrel (so you will need to buy an extended inner barrel) by allen screws at the base. It also works rather well, I have/had both.
  9. Marui G17 w/ SD slide, etc... KWA G34 w/ KSC Metal Slide
  10. Wow, that's kind of surprising to me. All the P226s of people I know are all not to the same level as the M1911. Go figure. My P226 is fairly well upgraded and it now shoots pretty hard and is very consistent, but my M1911 has been doing much better with less. To each their own I guess.
  11. I had the PDI piston in my Marui 1911 and it was too tight, even with the SD loading nozzle. I switched to the Nine Ball Dyna Piston and it seals better than stock and still allows the nozzle to move. Plus it gives a nicer feeling blowback. Your P226 shoots harder than you M1911? Mine never has.
  12. Nice. What generation EVO? I like the HKS intake.
  13. Thats true in terms of the blowback and barrels (not the bushing less ones like the SVs) but remember that diferent sightss have diferent cuts and dovetails. Make sure the new slide either comes with sights, or you have the correct ones, ie a slide cut for novaks or bomars, etc.
  14. The top TLE/RL II has an SD slide on it. I have yet to try one on a SCW3, but so goes the rumour they should fit. I don't see why they wouldn't the changes I have heard about are all in the hop and the trigger mechanism. The real diference between the two is that TLE/RL II has an external extractor and the MARSOC does not. Other than that (and the writing on the right side of the slide) they are the same.

  16. She is pretty good right now. My gun has always shot a little low, so I have the hop all the way up. I think the Nine Ball seal helped with bringing the shots up closer to the point of aim, and the extra length of the inner barrel really helps. I gave my friend the stock inner barrel from my M1911 and he is getting much tighter groupings now.
  17. The six inch in my 4.3 goes right to the end, so it may cover a 7inch in a 5.1. I don't know about the 5.1, but PDI warns you that it is fit for a 4.3, I think it probably has to do with the clearance on the back to fit over the outer barrel, but I don't have a 5.1 to try. I like the Dyna Piston. I think it matter which gun it is in, but the PDI piston I had in before was too tight (but PDI works perfectly in my P226), got in the way of the nozzle moving. The spring it is shipped with for in front of the floating valve (or what ever you call it) messes things up, don't bother fitting
