  1. I tried for one, but I got it way after they stopped production. BoomArms couldn't find one. I am just going to cut one out of a stock slide.
  2. I like the wide ambi's because i run my thumb up on them for accuracy (watched that Todd Jarrett youtube too much). I never had that issue with the Nine Ball until I removed the half cock and grip safety. My stock 4.3 safety on my Delta works all the time, but it doesn't bother me since my thumb is on it when I am firing.
  3. BoomArms "assembled" the kit for me, since it is a non-railed frame, but a railed slide. They forgot the extractor and I have been too lazy to make one. I am going to hack apart a stock slide this weekend and add it in.
  4. Stole the controls from my new Sig and threw them on my Non-Railed. Looks good but I just don't know what grips I am going to end up using:
  5. No, I'm good for now with the replacement stock grips. I have a black mag arriving tomorrow, and I will get Gunners for it eventually, or R.Ocelot will buy it from me and add them....
  6. What is a "diamond stack" magazine?
  7. I didn't know they made them for the M9. I might go Ajax Pearl, it would actually look good on this gun. Maybe Black pearl.
  8. Just stock Beretta grips. Had to go through Beretta USA to get them, but they where still less than $30 shipped. I wish Brownells had them in stock. I almost went for the wrap arounds, almost. Maybe I should have gone for the Pachmyers, but didn't want to track them down.
  9. Yeah, black grips and black magazine are on the way.
  10. I will be swapping to a black mag, and black grips. I just don't know which frame. Ah well, too much money into this gun again.
  11. Took a few sunny shots of the Creation Sig. Interestingly enough since I have completed it, it has been through two owners, now waiting for word back on the third. Man this thing has changed hands like nothing before. I don't even know who is going to end up with it. I managed to source a Prime slide for my Beretta. Unfortunately it is black, while my gun (well both of them) are INOX. Shame, but who can turn down a metal slide so you can run green through a WA Beretta? I don't know if I will keep it this way, I might go back to silver and just stump up and buy the INOX body
  12. Here is the new look for the Prime Beretta. Looks better, but I need at least a black magazine. Did the silver frame look better?
  13. Managed to source a Prime slide for my WA M92FS. Since it is black, I now need to rethink my color scheme. I think I need some real steel panels.
  14. If silver is what you want, save up for PGC or Nova/Prime. The polished metals will tarnish period, unless you seal the job right away, and I have yet to hear of a really good way of sealing it down permanently.

Just the first step of my actual race build for myself. I want to keep rocking the stock slide until it blows up (if it ever does) but I do need to decide on a true Compensator to use. The PDI Shroud is just there as a place holder so I can run an extended inner barrel. Another tune up for a friend. He managed to crack off a bit of the stock piston. It was venting gas pretty heavily during shooting. Swapped it out for a PGC 1911 piston I had sitting around. Brought the efficiency back up and the kick became a bit heavier. I still prefer the Nine Ball Dyna Piston for the P226, but since I was doing this more as a favor.

Nice build. Sourcing the body took weeks, building took less than three hours, if I wasn't taking my time, easily and hour build. First time Creation build, but I would use a Creation body again if I had to. PGC is still the preferred body, but this is good. TM Sig P226 Railed Creation Non-Railed Body Kit Nine Ball Dyna Piston

Quick tune up for a friend of mine. Just pulled the wasted magazine valve, cleaned out everything, relubed it so it would function again (it had been sitting in a box for over a year). After I swapped valves I found out that the idiot WA Mag was leaking like a sieve through the bottom plate join. Spent over an hour trying different methods of fixing it, but only succeeded in slowing the leak to a whisper. I must say I do like the action on a compact WA 1911. Another gun I might need to actually look into.

Interestingly enough, as I was building a Limcat for a client, someone else contacted me about fitting his Limcat Comp barrel to slide, fitting a SD grip, and some other basic tuning. It was a real blessing to have two of the same builds going on at the same time, but different tuning levels. It really helped me figure out exactly where the slide and barrel where binding. This build was for a first time Airsoft buyer who wanted a training tool as he prepares to shoot the open division in IPSC. Currently he is shooting a production M&P, but he wanted me to build him a true open gun (styling wise) to practice for his eventual open gun. While it is not built for airsoft IPSC competition, it does have a good performance bed, and will shoot hard and straight. 21. So after a good day down at Pinnacle, I actually had the will to do some client work tonight. Of late I have had two lines of questions, either Guarder Springfield 1911s and Non-Railed P226s. First up was a Creation bodied Non-Rail p226. Originally it was going to be number 2 with a PGC body, but like always they were really out of stock. Thankfully TMC was good enough to sell me this Creation body at the same price as the PGC. This was my first experience with Creation and I must say it is really decent. I would never build one for myself (since they are more expensive than a PGC) b
  22. Built another Non-Rail Sig P226 for a client. First chance to check out a Creation body, certainly decent, higher quality and feel than a Guarder, but the PGC kit is still much better. Oh well, he wanted a non-railed frame so PGC was out. Trademarks are noticeably different from my PGC, but not stupid looking.
  23. Junior - DB Customs makes a 6.01mm in G34 length. I would just contact Dwayne and source it.
  24. The WE is incredibly easy to fit. Line the front in straight and true, and smack the rear with a rubber mallet (I use a screwdriver handle). It really is as simple as that. The optic is a King Arms Red/Green 4 Reticle thingee. The dot is clear and true, could be a little more paralax free.
  25. Thanks. I think the slide is staying stock, but I do want to run a 7" so some form of Comp is in the works eventually. Sach has got me covered on the grips. New set being crafted right now. One day I will get an RSP set, one day.
