  1. agree about the ra tech NPAS its nPOS works like ######, faulty design with a weak spring, I got it and it broke on me took the gun apart 2 times thinking its the hop up until I figured out the prob. The ra tech barrel is however working very well.
  2. Sweeet, nice results, might be interested. Two questions: t_hum How gutted does the upper have to be? Also is the hop up arm completely gone now and the wheel? No need for them right? Or does this push down on the hop up arm?
  3. Looking for tips how to clean KJ mags. Had a game this past weekend and did some sweet rolls in the sand, now all my mags are gunked up. You can feel a lot of resistance on the spring as they load. I want to clean and lube them. Should I take them apart or is there a way to do it with out total dissasembly? Thanks
  4. I have both, the hop up ripped but prior to that I did not notice a difference between it and the stock hop up, tightbore seems to be quality. The velocity reducer they make is junk, flawed design, get t_hum's instead.
  5. There are two. The shorter one is a UTG and its not a free float its very firm. The longer one is designed for a d-boys aeg but the barrel is the stock KJ barrel, the delta ring could be the problem but it feels very snug and tight.
  6. I have to say I am not a fan of the free float. It could be the brand of front end I used on the KJ I just finished building but when it was set and done the barrel had a lot of wobble, about a quarter inch up and down and left an right and if I ever dropped the gun I feel like I could have bent it. I ended up fashioning a "cup" type piece for the front end to hook up the two. Don't think the free float has any real benefits in airsoft since the recoil is so minor and if the barrel is wobbling its probably throwing off your accuracy on full auto more than its helping. Here is a couple cell
  7. Get some of those coleman hand warmers and stick them in your mag pouches they will keep you and your mags warm, cheap and easy.
  8. Yes the rof tends to go down as gas depleads, seems like what you are experiencing is normal other than not being able to unload a full mag.
  9. Cool down is expected but the mag should unload all 38 rounds under reasonable temps. In fact my mags are usually good for a couple of loads from one gas fill.
  10. Gun shoots 470 stock on gg and around 380? on duster, still too hot for most foreign lands. USA!
  11. I dont think it makes any sense my guess is so they can use the same inner for the standard and cqb versions, seems like a waste.
  12. I doubt that will fit as the KJ stock, buffer tube nut to be exact, does not screw off like the rs or the WA versions, I found that out the hard way. You are safest getting a sling adaptor that bolts on externally, I got one from ehobby and it works well, I can post a link if you are interested.
  13. Where do I purchase the x-ring and what size for both the cradle and stock pistons, I am running both right now in two guns.
  14. As a matte of fact I do, I was about to pm him. What the heck is in x-ring compared to an o-ring and did it fix your problems? I have used this piston for about 3 outings now and no probs but yesterday it gave way and jammed up everything, massive pain in my *albartroth*.
  15. you should certainly try it although I had tons if problems with both my kjs today, many lessons learned such as my serial number 63 gun constantly jams and dumps all the gas when I put in the bolt off my brand new no sn kj. Dont mix uppers abd lowers between old and new models. At one point I had the bolt get stuck in the stock buffer tube and the buffer spring could not push it forward to the point where I could not swing open my upper so I had to take the whole stock off from behind, argh. Turns out an o-ring blew up on the piston jamming up the whole function of the bolt. Bad times, end of
