  1. I bought a bead blasting cabinet yesterday and experimented on my Shooters Design Glock 26 barrel. What do you guys think....
  2. When you buy a used 18C you're only buying someone else’s headache. G18Cs can develop so many problems if there not taken care of properly. Buy a new one, this way you know that you properly maintained it from the start. WGC is known for hacking up the trademarks. Right now I'm trying to get them NOT to burn the trades off a gun I recently ordered. If you really want to buy an upgraded gun I suggest using Dentrinity. I've ordered a couple guns and slides from them and they have all showed up perfect with all trades intact. Go to Dens website and search for: DEN Custom KSC Glock
  3. As far as swapping the internals, With a good diagram its not that hard. If you get stuck you could even use this. Its a guide on how to install a rocket valve but it should assist you in the dis-assembly and re-assembly of the slides internals The fitment is the tricky part when installing metal slides. Unfortunately there is no other option at this present time for these 2 guns besides the KSC Metal slides. But fortunately enough, the fitment of these slides is extremely easy.
  4. G23F KSC metal slide G18C KSC metal slide, or you could wait for the Boomarms metal slide to come out. Both are ugly, But easy to install. If the Boomarms G18C slide is anything like their G34 slide, its going to be a dream to install.
  5. KSC G34 Boomarms G34 Metal slide & barrel Old school frame G&P Upgraded guide rod and spring Bone stock internals
  6. Vey nice Isaac Is the frame painted white? and what slide is that?
  7. Wow, where did you get your gun at? They really did a number on your trades!
  8. Which G17? KSC or TM? On this page hkssr20det had a picture of his TM G17 with a SD(shooters design) slide on it.
  9. Another frame came in the mail today.... Now I need some new slides...
  10. Got my hands on a old school KSC Glock 17 frame with the Glock logo and trademarks on the grip. Definitely worth it if you can find one, makes the gun look so much nicer.
  11. Is there a particular reason you want the G&G one? Evike.com has both the silver and black Guarder threaded barrels in stock (+ only) .
  12. I got a Clipdraw in today. It took all of 3 minutes to install. The slide cover plate that it came with fits perfectly on my KSC G17. Here is a close up of the cover plate... **I plan to install it on a nicer Glock once I finish one up.
  13. Too frustrated and too tired to take good pictures. The SD slide on the G26 still doesn't cycle right but i'm not playing with it anymore tonight.
  14. Anyone have any good tips for fitting a Shooters Design G26 slide? I got mine today from dentrinity and i've been working it back and forth for almost an hour and its still tight. I'm not really sure what to do without ruining the slide.
  15. Thanks a bunch Vicious, Will that slide still work with out any modifications with the G&G Outer barrel? Just out of curiosity, what setup would you go with? I just got a new G26 and a G&P SS100 silencer in yesterday, So i'm in need of a slide and threaded barrel.
  16. I've been searching the web for days, and it seems like this KSC one is the only Metal slide and barrel available for the KSC 26. Does anyone know of any others? http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...SCG26_cat_Slide
  17. Thanks, I did polish the top also. Trying to keep the grain looking nice around the sights was a pain in the rear but it came out OK. On another note, does anybody know if this Sheriff Trigger trigger will fit my WE 1911? I think I rather just buy one than attempt to take off and polish the trigger thats on there now.
  18. Hey thanks for the compliments, I figured i would get laughed at because of all the sweet WA 1911's on this thread. I sanded the paint off the slide using 220 grit, then did it again using 400 then 600. Then I polished the slide with my dremel using NOXON metal polish which gave it a pretty good shine. Lastly I hand polished it with BLUE MAGIC. The only things i painted were the grips, I guess it just looks more matte because of the bad lighting in the picture.
  19. You guys may laugh but here is my WE 1911A1. I bought it a while ago and I didn't like it that much. Figured I'll toy around with polishing since I've never done it before. I guess I was going after that two-tone look, I also painted the stock brown grips semi-flat black. Before: After:
