  1. That is ugly, horribly ugly. However it is probably one of the most truly, truly, TRULY awesomest AKs I ever did see. You sir, win.
  2. My_plague, in response to your earlier question, yes, tm reciever to do fit ICS front ends. More or less that is. There is no way for the two to join unless you drill holes through the reciever, thread them and put screws in, however this will actually look better if done well. I am not sure about the bolt fitting or if there will be any more complications in getting the two to fit.
  3. Ok, what I actually meant is modern AKs. They are lovely, but my first gun was an ICS 74 and I've had that for over a year now. I'm still keeping it for sentimental reasons and because I've made it shoot uber-sweet-haxxor now. I'm making a jump to a custom AS-VAL. Not quite. It stops about 3cm before the end. However it still kicks bum royally.
  4. Yeah, for me it is the wiring that's the problem. I haven't checked although that is what I have heard. Next time I take it apart (this weekend at the latest) I will find out.
  5. It is, actually. I've finally got a replacement receiver from G&G after much haggling to get it down from $150. *Mumble Grumble.* If any one is interested, I am selling it. It's in lovely nick just dont lean on it. It was just one hex screw that wouldn't budge. Not an issue of strength, more so technique because I didnt want to tear it. So I got my dad (he's an engineer) to do it while I got on with something else for 5 minutes. I came back, picked it up ready to take a photo and went 'thats not right...' As for internal upgrades, he's actually quite proficient at
  6. I actually think they should have put about 5 different skins for the AKs into the game. Would have made it more interesting. My dad failed at fixing airsoft guns.
  7. I can't believe no one has realised it IS the AK74 in Stalker, down to the last detail, with exception of the GP-30 not having sights and that the whole AK isnt the wrong way round. Very good job there.
  8. In that case, does that momma have an airsoft equivalent?!
  9. I normally puke at the sight of fully painted AKs, but that one manages to go straight to the WIN bin. I still think it would be better with only the furniture painted though, just because of the contrasts in colour. Does that momma have a RS equivalent?
  10. Well then, I shall have to spite you and do it myself.
  11. By that logic, CYMA is a division of TM and Inokatsu is closely affiliated with Playboy magazine (well, they probably are...). iloveics, I am loving your tactical stock repair, oh and your AK is gorgeous. alimcd, I think your AK can be called an adorably half-arsed SVU. Now that I think about it, I can really see that making a lean, mean sniper if you put a PSO on there and upgraded it internally.
  12. fallout, did your mother ever tell you to use the edit button? Nice AK btw.
  13. My first gun just got a new lease of life. An ICS AK74 with kryloned furniture!
  14. Hmm, anyway. I know they are 5.45 mags, but they looked even longer to my eye. Emm, thanks for the info though.
  15. *Spasms.* Still it is a nicely done paint job (just I think it looks godawful on an AK, to be blunt. ) and that custom work looks very nice indeed. Are they longer mags?
