Yes we are. We have a few on order for T&E.

Last time I emailed that address I was responded to by Diana Huang. I always put "KJW staff" so as to not assume too much.

If you think you have identified the faulty parts you need to email KJW directly and get replacements. I was suggesting we might be able to track down the issues but if you've done that and know what the culprits are go ahead and get to fixin it!

Last I recall there were several members of these forums that went out of their way to help you with this issue. Im afraid this is largely between you and Airsplat. Assuming you can't resolve things with them your options are: 1. Repair the gun. This likely means asking nicely for a lot of help around here diagnosing the problem and finding parts. 2. Selling the gun. Good luck.

Keep track of wear on the bolt carrier where the bolt catch contacts it as well for us.

I dont know if Id say Im more qualified, but Ive tinkered enough and studied the KJW and alternative designs enough to identify the strengths and weaknesses. My GUESS is that KJW feels like the rubber band and piston cup system were costing them sales in the "realism" department. Tons of people flock the the WA for "realism". With WE switching to an open bolt design and that garnering a lot of attention and WA sticking to their bolt design perhaps KJW felt like they might gain from becoming more like the competition. Thats all speculation, of course. What has always made the KJW far super

My initial guess is that they haven't changed the valve which means the reducer would work. The piston is obviously not compatible but perhaps their urethane deals will work in this application. Without inspecting the mechanism it's hard to say. I'm most worried about prematurely wearing of the bolt catch surface. Every other system that uses this style carrier arrangement suffers in this area. The steel pin through the plastic bolt cup was a great design move by TK its a shame they ditched it.

The process I used was the same as I use with the metal ones. It just requires very sharp tools and a little more patience as the plastic is more likely to deform and deflect the drill as the modifications are being done.
  9. If someone can post a pic of the part and take a few dimensions for me I can say with certainty if it will fit. Dstole, any chance of a comparison to your KJW valve?
  10. If somebody has some pictures of the flute valve Id be interested in seeing one. We (Cradle Airsoft) can probably do a small run of NPAS units for these guns or it may be the case that our units for the KJW M4 might drop in.

Its an interesting concept though my inclination is to say its a step in the wrong direction. IMO, one of things that makes the KJW so much more reliable than the other systems out there is the bolt. They have moved the bolt cup to a piston design and now itegrate the cup into the carrier and use a side lock plate. My guess is that Tanio Koba was not involved in this revision which I think would speak volumes. Ill hold final reservations until I test one but my guess is that the sidelock plate is a failure point as well as the bolt catch area which, it would appear, is just like the other

I haven't found a way yet. Though I will say that they get easier to load over time as the parts wear in. When you ask about buying from KJW directly do you mean loaders or magazines? Ive been under the impression for some time now that KJW will not sell complete mags directly. Only parts.

I think I have a solution to doing the nod on the plastic uppers. Kai is sending it in to get worked on. I'll keep you posted if we find a solution

Kai and I discussed it some time ago but determined the plastic uppers are probably a little to weak to thread straight into. Also they are likely too thin it that area to accept a threaded insert.

What are the email addresses you have for KJW Samuel?

What Defekt said. That is the new upper with the reinforced tabs. The corresponding mock barrel extension plate/hop retention plate needs to be the new style as well. A new part #2 is the ticket.

I haven't heard of many, if any, trigger related problems. Like Steve3057 said, Im afraid not many of us can really help over forums and probably not much better over a chat or video chat service. Out of curiosity, where in the US are you located? Best of luck getting things sorted with Airsplat. Also, FWIW, the small revisions made to the CQB-R variant of the KJW M4 aren't likely to solve any of the problems you have reported. The changes to that rifle for the most part were taken care of in the standard models after the serialized versions of the gun were sold. Something to think ab

BCG is in a holding pattern for production. We just put three new products to production yesterday that absolutely had to start. As soon as they are done and selling the BCGs will be rolling out. Mags have some work still.

You will have a hard time finding them at any regular hardware store. I can mail you some if you PM or text me with your address ( know I should have it by now!). They are much less sensitive to prolonged full auto fire and extreme cold as a result.

Phenom, that's actually an x-ring. It's come on all the pistons sold for a long time now. PM me if you want a few sent.

I wouldnt think so. However, Ive never seen someone use over .30's in the gun. Might be the brand is slightly larger in this size. Try another group of BBs in a different size or brand and see if the problem goes away.

    KJW M4

I wouldn't say so. Is your gun serialized and is this the original mag that came with the gun? Could be a weak follower spring or unusually tight feed lips otherwise.

Raven1 had mentioned that KJW was working on beefing up a few spots on the receivers but Im not sure if those happened or not. Seems to me like that is one of the very few problems left with the gun. Id like to see a revised hop configuration as well but that is probably unlikely.

This has been covered a few times before but... The stock is AEG spec, i.e. any stock designed for an AEG sized buffer tube will fit well. You can add a couple of pieces of electrical tape to the stock tube to get it to be a little firmer fit. Thats a common practice for AEG users.
