  1. Would you be able to fit a KJW or TM hammer? I can't imagine that the hammer is that different between makes. Evan
  2. As a real steel shooter now as opposed to airsoft, I thought I'd drop in and explain the difference between the newer 92FS frame with the tapered dustcover and radiused backstrap. The dustcover on newer Beretta 92FS models was tapered around 2005 after the switch to polymer parts such as the guide rod, trigger, safety and slide release. The reason was to maintain commonality with a design change to the Beretta 96FS. The early 96FS had problems with the frame cracking around the rear dustcover area due to increased pressures of the .40 S&W ammo as opposed to the 9mm. To fix this, Be
  3. Mine were completely unedited...I don't even know what photoshop is
  4. Hehe, I guess toy Beretta's crack their locking blocks also! Seriously though, contact KWAusa and they'll send you a replacement part. The new generations locking blocks don't do that, only the first batch.
  5. Hehe... Click Pictures to Open Larger Version -Evan
  6. That's actually an accurate representation of an old style SIG frame (non-railed) and a new style SIG slide (Milled Steel and External Extractor). If you fit an older style slide on that frame it will be flush, but the newer slide is just a bit shorter like that. This is because the older slide was rounder in the back as opposed to the newer one. The real gun is like that. Older frame, newer slide. That's how many Navy pistols were manufactered. My real SIG has that same 'step' by the hammer...
  7. I know that you can rack the slide with the safety on in a real 92FS. The Beretta manual even suggests it as a safety procaution. On the WA M9, the safety (inaccurately) locks the slide in the closed position to prevent you from closing the slide with the safety on. Why? I don't know. On the KSC/KWA M9 you can, and I think that it'd be fine for the gun, but you might want to ask somebody more experienced than I... Evan
  8. Is that an Officer's 1911 or a Commander? I can never tell, but I know I want a Commander cuz that's what Jesse Stone carries lol
  9. Do you guy's KWA's have a pretty loose interface between the Barrel and Slide at the muzzle? My WA is very tight, and the barrel is secure, but the KWA PTP is pretty lose, as the hole in the slide seems more of an oval...is this just mine? Because the barrel droops a bit at the muzzle because of this.
  10. Does anybody own the KSC SIG P226? Lookin` for pics of that gun. Especially a side view with the slide locked back. It doesn't seem this gun is very popular, but it's pretty cheap at E Hobby Asia ($85 plastic, $137 w/ metal slide)
  11. Nice gun quiksilver, what non-rail kit is that? I've been looking for an older style SIG everywhere, can't find one... Evan
  12. Wow!! Where could I get my hands on those metal slide & frame kits? How much do both of them cost? How is the fitting process? Are they tight when completed? Very respectfully, Evan
  13. Why are there no pictures of the new KWA/KSC M9 PTP? I'm getting one, and am looking all over for more pictures, but can't find any...I know it's a great gun, so if you have it please show it off!
  14. Realityknight, Could you, or somebody else post some pictures of the Carbon Black M92FS taken without a flash, or under natural light so I can see how it looks in person? Basically so I can see how the slide/frame/metal interacts without the plastic being washed out by a flash? If you don't want to post on the forum, you could email them to me at "Navymid2011@Gmail.com" I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me out here. I'm two days away from ordering a Carbon Black and want to decide if I like the finish before I dish out that much money one one. Very Respectfu
  15. Does anybody have any more information on that full metal KWA M9? I was on UN Company ordering my WA Carbon Black 92FS when I saw this post, and decided to hold off and the WA. What's the news on this new FMV M9? Does the slide lock back correctly finally? Is it heavier, ie real weight? (2.2 lbs) What's the word on the street?
  16. Hey can somebody post pictures of a KSC M9 or a KWA M9? I'm looking into buying either one of those or a WA because of the working decocker. Pics would be appreciated. Also, I know that on the KSC the slide doesn't lock back all the way, is that noticeable compared to the real steel? Thanks, Evan Levesque
  17. Thanks for the Videos Shao...thanks a lot!
  18. How about you make a video of the KJW firing? I've never heard the FMV fire, and was wondering about the sound it makes, and the sounds when you put the mag in and when you release the slide. I was leaning towards the KSC because of the decocker feature, (I LOVE decockers) but your review has me considering... Thanks, Evan Levesque
