  1. Beginning of an old school loadout here... Hopefully this will end up looking something like an Afghanka(sp?) Soviet VDV/Spetsnaz impression in the end, but it's got a little ways to go. The chicom is what I only what I can get my hands on for now as far as chest rigs go as the pre-SPLAV ones are difficult to find within my price range. But soon enough I'll spring for a Rusian rig. The web gear is Bulgarian Communist, but similar to the Russian stuff which, again is difficult to track down at a price I'm willing to pay. Ahh... the KLMK is genuine Russian! Just got it
  2. Man, I don't know what you're talking about. It's *fruitcage* awesome.
  3. Looks like a great contractor gun.
  4. I'm intending on putting a side-folder on the PMC AK that I've posted pics of.
  5. Yes. Yes I do. I'm quite often diving and banging my *beep* around. That's why I say the metal is inferior.
  6. Yes, this I know, but the lower quality metal has made them quite a bit easier to break than a Marui.
  7. That model actually isn't so bad. I've had mine for nearly a year (it's been left completely stock) and the only internal thing to go was the hop up. But of course we all know about their crappy folding stock issue. It does make a fine loaner or (check out the pics I've posted) project piece.
  8. *fruitcage* AWESOME! Looks straight outta the sandbox.
  9. Thanks. It was really easy too. Just need a hacksaw, file, and drill.
  10. Oh, hey Zero ~ The wood looks really cool, actually. Just needs to be weathered a bit. Lose a bit of the glossiness and it should be fine. Marui base, right?
  11. Argh. I finally got off my lazy *albartroth* and took a picture of my contractor AK with the paint job. 'Twas kind of inspired by the Nat Geo special "Iraq's Guns For Hire" and some custom parts that an Armor Group gunsmith was showing off for the camera. This thing actually started out as a CM.028s, but when the stock broke I kinda felt like doing something unique with it.
  12. Fleck's color scheme gave way to CADPAT, and MARPAT is basically a copy of CADPAT, and so on down the line.
  13. After just now reading this, I have to laugh at this statement. It' like saying that if you like rap, then you have to like punk because that's where it's roots lie (personally, I hate rap, I'm just using it as an example). Whew. Sorry. Just saw that and it kinda ###### me off. [/threadjack]
  14. I don't want to throw that much money into a CYMA without first completely replacing the hop up, barrel, and gearbox. I have however decided not to put a RIS on it. I'll probably go with '74 furniture. And I don't want a stock. And synthetic furniture is badass.
