  1. Alot of silly idiots in saxos and clios around my town, cant wait until one of them stuffs it right outside my flat on the corner, just so I can point and laugh at them...
  2. In that case: Just about SFW. Say what you like about Ms Lloyd, but I could never get tired of having that on my desk top...
  3. Does look rather nice- Im having flashbacks to Candyman's custom build...
  4. Huzzar, my time machine is working again! UFO ftw, they dont make shows like that anymore....
  5. I take it you didnt have your camera in your hands at that point? Shame.. I think :/ Q. Re: recent news article on the BT-Yahoo website, has anyone ever been approached or stopped by the rozzers whilst photographing buildings or landmarks etc? Thoughts about it all?
  6. Or how about some of that cable sheeving that you normally see in PCs to tidy up wiring- would look a bit nicer atleast.
  7. I would say if you intend to keep the thingy in that location, then drill a hole and run the wire out the back of it (side facing the gun), then drill a hole inbetween the raised parts of the side rail, and run the wire through that- so its all hidden from view behind the thingy. Nice silicon insulated wire will be more flexible, but it shouldnt be too much of a problem- just maybe swap the molex plug for a pair of 4mm bullet plugs, that way they wont get in the way so much- make the hole in thingy and side rail smaller than the bullets but as larger as the wire, to prevent them being pulled
  8. No, as that would be classed as re-activating a deactivated firearm (even if it is a museum piece as such). To be enjoyed for what it is basically, a beautiful old bolty
  9. AR15s, popular in your team I take it?
  10. I prefer the newer setup- re: beefy looking. Might look nicer with some sort of... what are they called, panel thingies? Just to provide you with something to grip on the forend when shooting from a standing posistion.
  11. With a rifle like that, you are forgiven Got any more close up shots, so much awesomeness going on its hard to take it all in from a distance...
  12. High maintenance, expensive, difficult to control... yep, sounds and looks like a GF alright....
  13. What the hell kind of camera did you use, those are beyond awesome shots!
  14. Given the recent economic termoil, I found this to be highly amusing/ pertinent:
  15. Never seen a Challenger 2 before? The barrel is rifled, it just looks straight as you can only see the last few inches; feel free to look up the exact number of grooves and # of degrees twist clockwise or anticlockwise etc. Rifled for accuracy, unlike the American Abrahms tank that has a smooth bore, and fires its shells.. 'somewhere over there'....
  16. I would wager its a photo taken during the Le mans 24 hour endurance race- some crazy looking cars take part in that event...
  17. A few highlights from the local regatta we just had down in quaint little Dartmnouth. http://s798.photobucket.com/albums/yy261/suicideneil2/ Link to the albums.
  18. Oooooh, weirdness. Mine: (see attachment) Shameless plug: I actually have some more for sale on ebay (size 8 & 11), just look for 'army boots' or 'combat boots'.
  19. Panasonic DMC FZ-28 Play.com Class 6 4GB SDHC memory card UV & PL lens filters ~120cm no-name tripod Spare battery Case (nice and padded with shoulder strap, mmm) Padded leather hand strap. So far Im highly impressed, but its gonna take me a while to master its zillion or so functions...
  20. No idea. It has "Stainless Pakistan" stamped on the blade, ands thats as much as I know.. EDIT: Its 8 1/2" long (open), 3 3/4" blade length.
  21. Well, Im jealous of some of you guys, all I got is this old thing: I 'aquired' it back in '95, on my first year trip to France (Mont saint Michelle to be precise, the little gift shop right at the top). Had it ever since- useful for opening boxes and letters etc, hence why its been sharpended to death, as you can probably see from the amount of blade thats been removed from the lower edge. Still takes an edge well for an old girl...
