BF3, actually, it was a DLC weapon. I loved running it with the Kobra in CQB, that 2 body shot kill at close range was very handy.
-
Finally managed to find a VFC 9" HK417 rail for sale that wasn't silly expensive.
-
Does this count?

Actually looks about right tbh, the bagginess of the suits does help break up the shape of the body (and is a *fruitcage* godsend in hot weather)

I'd wait for a bit to see how the longevity is. For what it's worth, I've had to fix one of the new Umarex/VFC G17s which had borked a recoil spring and it was pretty standard VFC, lovely externals, meh internals, questionable reliability. With the bonus of horrendous prices for Co2 magazines.

Don't worry, if Brexit happens you'll be able to buy a TM recoil shock in the UK for about 3 potatoes -

Fair, but there is plenty of room on the site to set up tents and such. I can ask and see, worst they can say is no! -

Not really, but it's a 20 minute bus ride from the city center. -

I'd totally be up for another ArnieGedds! I have the ear of my local site up in Edinburgh and they've got some great terrain... thoughts? -

TM AK47 because it has a 600 round hicap and you can fit a large 8.4v nicad in the butt -
He has a restrictor disc installed to reduce the power output to UK legal levels. As for gas efficiency, have you checked the seal on the nozzle o-ring?

Aye, you'd think that RATech would actually test things before selling them though, tolerance issues become apparent the moment you try to cycle the bolt. Madness.
-
Magwell conversions aren't possible, alas, as the gas routers and feed lips etc don't line up. Are you having issues with the bolt not seating into battery properly? In terms of bolt catch - the WE's system is actually unrealistic - the real G36 will lock open on empty, but there's no bolt release button - the button that WE uses as a bolt release is actually a manual bolt hold open for manually locking the bolt open for inspection - you just pull the cocking handle to the rear and let go. Magazine wise, yeah, the side lugs are annoying as *suitcase* - there are plenty of pictures of

When you are capitalist pig but you want to Сука блять quietly My personal .300BLK AAC GBBR. Based on a WE with a full RATech build, internally and externally, she's had a LOT of work put in to get it shooting well, because apparently RATech's QC is so bad that an RATech GBBR built BY RATech with RATech externals and RATech internals won't work properly because of poor tolerances and fitting issues. Internally: - FG Airsoft Speed buffer and spring - Stock WE nozzle with a 150% return spring and a restrictor disc - RATech steel BCG - RATech steel hop-up unit -

No worries, I've seen a few broken charging handles but that seemed to be down to the hamfistedness ratings of the owners. They have the same barrel wobble issues as the WE, but FG make parts to fix that: http://fg-airsoft.com/en/barrels-and-related/49-ecrou-de-canon-pour-g39-gris-sombre.html http://fg-airsoft.com/en/barrels-and-related/51-ecrou-de-canon-pour-g39-gris-sombre.htm

From what I remember of the first gen R36s: 100% clones of the WE Nozzle isn't great, can be a bit fragile, but the WE is a drop in replacement Stock Hop up rubber is pretty gash, would replace with a maple leaf Magazines generally good but sometimes come out of the box with leaks, in most cases simply a case of strip down, regrease, rebuild
-
Big GBBR mags tend to be very good for that as they have proportionately a much higher ratio of gas to bbs. I've been trying to get a look at the internals of the magazine, I had hoped that with all the space available you could get a GHK style dual chamber design in for more reliability.
-
You legend. Absolutely spot on with both fixes.
-
NEEEEEEEEEECRO Got one of these in for a few fixes, got everything sorted bar two issues: 1) The internal gas tank will vent out of the top when you change magazines 2) One of the magazines is leaking out of the outlet valve and nothing I've tried so far has fixed it Does anyone have any ideas?

Maple Leaf Crazy Jet barrels are designed to fit WE GBBs and TM GBBs, they have the extra cuts.
-
I swapped my full size MP5 hop and barrel out and there was no issue - the only thing is you need to switch both the barrel and hop up rubber at the same time as the new WE cut has different internal dimensions, even though the external dimensions are the same as the usual TM/WE. I'd recommend a MapleLeaf Crazy Jet barrel and a 50 deg Super bucking.

I suspect it would be a case of drilling it out and putting a new rivet in.
