  1. It has been known to happen. (14.5" AR15) I actually find an Armalite (ar15 or ar10) with a 12" rail system is just about right for me. It lets me put a grip at the very end and have it line up just fine for my arms.
  2. Crappy pictures because I am ill and can't go outside to set up some nice ones. Apologies for ludicrous bedsheet. SRC Mp5a4 with the FE slim grip and SEF set. Took a LOT of dremelwork to get it to fit. Next up, I'm working on making some straight style midcaps for it and also some appropriately old-school optics. I don't suppose anyone has an old aimpoint 2000 or 1000 lying around?
  3. A couple of pictures of me testing out my AR10 last Saturday.

I reckon leave it black but with Tan accessories and rail covers.

Nice work on your build! I went for an AR-10 base for mine. I'll get some nicer pictures up later, but here's one from a game yesterday: I used an Element 12" Noveske rail, a 16" knights barrel and a Battleaxe 7.62NATO break. I'm going to put on a G&P LMT Ergo pistol grip soon, along with a SOPMOD stock to replace the IMOD.
  6. I've fondled the e&l stuff. It's basically just LCT kits with blueing and weathering done out of the box. Set screws to hold the barrel and front end bits in place, no cross pin on the rear trunnion.
  7. Not to mention that it could blow when you fire it due to the sudden drop in pressure causing a catastrophic fracture. When the tank is in the stock. Pressed against your cheek.
  8. I've got to say I was impressed how quickly BTC got in touch with me over the G3 issue - it's probably saved me a buggered Spectre.
  9. Seems to be simple enough, thanks for the clear pictures! BTW, if you need help getting a replacement TM-style G3 selector set up, give me a PM and I'll see what I can do from Hong Kong.
  10. It looks like taking a millimetre off the cam's forward nubbin would clear it... EXPERIMENTS HOY
  11. Yes, I've just heard the same thing. I don't have the board in hand to check, but it's possible modifying the selector cam could work. if it doesn't... well I can always pop this into my dsg build.
  12. I'll be doing a straight comparison to my G3s current 3034 homebrew mosfet. Video before and after with the same batteries etc.
  13. I have one on the way to drop into a G3. I'll put up some pictures and videos when I do.
  14. TM issues a product recall? In other news, pigs spotted flying over Hampshire, Peter Mandelson is a force for good, David Cameron gets on his bike, Nick Clegg tells the truth and the Ministry of Defence manages to buy equipment that isn't terrible, arrives on time and at a sensible cost.
  15. A HERP DERP WRONG THREAD. Sorry about that.
  16. I think the FPS increases are due to the stronger flute/rocket valve springs that come with the nozzles.
  17. I'm still running my stock nozzle, though I have a Ready Fighter one waiting in case of a kaboom. Round count in the multiple bags of 0.25gs now.
  18. I once went into a chippy in Edinburgh with my vegetarian then-girlfriend. She asked for a vegetarian option and they gave her a potato fritter with chips.
  19. I ran my MP7 last night in some indoor CQB - dumped about 1000rnds through it with no issues - running stock with only a hop-up rubber and inner barrel upgrade. I have a Guns Modify nozzle here in case it goes pop but I've not had a single issue yet. What are you guys doing to your guns? :S
  20. I'm looking forward to these being put on general release! Any idea when that will be?
  21. Try contacting KJW directly. Also, FALCON parts arrived for the CZ-75, tightbore is good but a little longer than the stock barrel, so it sticks out about 3mm when the slide is locked back. V hop rubber needs bedding in, it's very sensitive to change and is hard to adjust right.
  22. I'm talking brick and mortar. I don't think they're on special offer online (though if you ask nicely, can pay by paypal or bank transfer and PM me, I'm sure we can sort something. :3)
