  1. Not a big fan of the PRI triangle foregrips, but that's a pretty slick set up. Kudos!
  2. My girlfriend wanted a wood kit on an MP5. My girlfriend got a wood kit on an MP5. The foregrip modification was quite extensive but it's rock solid now. The new CA MP5s use a faux bolt that opens when you cock the gun, which lets them use an AK style hop up unit which is MILES ahead of the old TM style unit, but for some silly reason they kept the mountings on the cocking tube for the old MP5 hop unit in case you wanted to use a shittier hop up. Said mountings required grinding off as they interfere substantially with the fit of the wood foregrip. Internally, it's one of the new CA M

  4. If you are having problems with the FPS being too high, you can reduce the output energy by putting a restrictor disk in front of the flute valve in the nozzle.
  5. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/photobucket-embedded-fix/?src=search Firefox version of the photobox fixer.
  6. That hop up unit looks to be a Prime WA to AEG conversion unit that's had the outside machined down a bit. Still very disappointing to see how this is performing poorly and breaking down so often. The huge inconsistency in full auto is also pretty inexcusable.
  7. Sounds like you didn't replace the stock WE barrel? The newer WE GBB barrels and hopup rubbers have different internal measurements than TM (and old WE) GBB spec, but have the same external measurements. What this means is that it's possible to install a TM spec hop up rubber on a WE spec barrel, which leaves a small gap inside that can't be seen from the outside - causing issues like the ones you describe. Either stay with the WE spec barrel and hop up rubber or get a new barrel to go with your hop up rubber. Mapleleaf's new 'Crazy Jet' barrels are good, I hear.
  8. AFAICT: Glocks = APS 1911s = KJW Shotguns = JG
  9. I'd frigging murder for some 40rnd magazines to cut up and fit to my HK33.
  10. It's an APS OEM. Slightly disappointing, I was hoping they'd stick with the KJW OEM from their 1911 styled gnus. Try a KJW Co2 magazine in it - they are cheap and work well in both TM and WE based glurks.
  11. My girlfriend and a team mate checking out her new AKSU. The CYMA plum is surprisingly nice.
  12. Nothing to do with the fact that they're probably bricking it that someone has made a fairly good K.V. for literally less than half the price
  13. OEM is based in Taiwan for the Krytac stuff, IIRC.
  14. The WELL Co2 magazines might be able to fit real shells as you should be able to remove more material from the bottom of the magazine without affecting the co2 capsule.

What we have here is known as a 'target-rich environment'...

Actually, I've just found out that you can get a replacement mosfet unit for the VZ58 from a Czech company called Grizzly: https://www.grizzlyairsoft.com/en/universal-wires-p119 Might be worth a shot.

I have seen 4 of the 'blue' units fail, and 1 of the 'red' units. That being said, the 'red' unit only came out a month or so before I left HK. The bigger issue is that you can't switch the gearbox out for different shell which takes standard switches.

The ARES integral mosfets are a bit hit and miss. I've seen some conk out and burn up with stock internals and standard buffer tube 7.4v and 11.1v lipos. On the other hand, I've also seen someone running a DSG set up with one and not have any issues. And yes, before the comments, this is with the newer 'blue' and 'red' mosfet units.

I've built MP5ks with 110mm inner barrels that can manage 40m minute-of-torso accuracy at 1.2J. It should be fine.
  21. Ohnoes, is it one of those PK-23 esque blinking dots? They really hurt my eyes after a while.
  22. I've been eyeing up the VOMZ, how are they?
