The reason they don't fog is the rubber seal with your face has a 1mm gap all the way around the top and bottom edges of the lens - making for great airflow. I'm a heavy, sweaty *beep* and I couldn't get the bugger to fog even when running up and down a hill several times at full pelt. Co-incidentally, my clones haven't fogged, but someone's real BOLLE X800s on the same day did, many times.

To add: 1) Standard M16 30rnd mags will fit without mods - and Thermold style mags will with some mild material removal. Boxmags are out. Cmags and Drums can fit. 2) Mine is 380fps. Range is decent, but the IB is tiny, so that's expected. 3) Rubberised makes for good grip. 4) Gah, horrid orange tip.

Brillo pad = steel wool. Though getting the finest grade you can is a good idea.

Good, but use a Brillo pad instead of sandpaper - they give a much better effect and take less time.

Check the underside of the front sight, there should be a set screw that tightens it to the outter barrel. If not, shim the inside of the front sight till it fits.

Perforated steel plate is stronger than woven steel mesh. That being said, my chinese BOLLE x800 copies are brilliant - full seal and no fog - and don't even fog when the REAL Bolle x800s do. For about a third of the price, too. These masks look pretty cool - Hope they sort out that adjustable strap though, that's a major issue.
