  1. You, good sir, are very lucky that Sledge isn't still around.
  2. CM31 + CM35? Nice. Only need to cut a new pair of locating slots in the front end and it becomes swappable with any TM compatible frontend. Best part about the CYMA, IMO.
  3. I could post pictars of mine, but the purists would have my head for a decorative... decoration.
  4. 1) I don't. 2) I try to be helpful, and give people the benefit of the doubt. 3) TBH most people in HK, players or otherwise, don't know much at all about airsoft internals. And as I usually end up fixing or checking stuff for people, I also tend to explain things a lot to said people. And again, I'll ask you to stop flinging personal insults about.
  5. No need to get so pissy, U_N. I made a mistake, I wasn't 'being cocky' or going in your face. And to be fair, your description in the review was not terribly clear, and no pictures until now kinda made it hard to discern. A simple "This is not the WE P14" would have sufficed. Oh, and thanks for the personal jab right there. Nice. Since you and I were at a total of maybe three or four skirmishes together, I'd say you're not really in a position to pass judgement on whether or not people speak to me often. Oh, by the by, great irony with the "respect" line there. Very nice.
  6. They have 8mm ball-bearings. But not flanged like most airsoft ones.
  7. www.copshoes.com $50USD for the UMSC ones and $80USD for the RIDGE ones. Add $20USD for the two sets of boot socks (which are awesome, btw, no sweaty feet wheeeee) and a whopping $100USD in shipping.
  8. BOOTS! Ordered from the US as NO ONE DOES MY SIZE IN HONG KONG BLOODY MIDGET FEETED PEOPLES. Size 16W UK or 15EW US: A Pair of OD/CB BATES Issue UMSC boots and a set of 100% leather RIDGE black tactical boots: And of course, the RIDGE boots, being the more expensive of the pair are labeled: Also, a rabbit.
  9. This is the "WE P14", to be precise, and yes, they are nice guns.
  10. Except I got the STEEL one, which is so heavy I gave a team-mate a concussion when I swung my AK into a firing position and didn't see him standing to my right. Silencer was fine, but his head wasn't. Lovely checker-patterned bruise along his temple.
  11. I find that the minute I complain about long shipping times or overdue goods, they arrive immediately after I send aforementioned complaint to the company, necessitating a hasty apology. Perhaps I should save complaint letters and apologies as templates so I can just send them in and get my goods instantly.
  12. The DBOYS with internal upgrades would be cheaper. In the end, it all really comes down to your preference in finish: 1) I like sexy, subtle matte finishes = CYMA. 2) I like shiny, glossy, shiny flare shiny shine shine = DBOYs.
  13. I realise that the finish on the DBOYs is more accurate to the real steel, but I guess that's a matter of personal opinion - personally I hate the shiny. In any case: If you aren't concerned with the body not being steel or want a matte finish, along with the higher internal QC and accuracy gain that the 6.04mm tightbore gives, get a CYMA. If you want more realism and the gloss finish, and don't mind cracking the GB to sort out some QC issues (if you're unlucky), get the DBOYs. If you love custom work, get the Unicorn.
  14. Oh, I hate anything non CYMA? Like the TM G3SAS and HFC M9C that I own. And also the DE UMP that I had. And the AGM XM8, and the AGM MP001, and the JG AUG, etc etc etc. Please, STFU and GTFO. I reccomend the CYMA because it works well out of the box, as CYMA's QC is better than DBOY's. That's all. Yes, DBOYS has better externals, but the CYMA's is by no means "craptastic", it's very well finished and cast, on a par with the TM T89 that I handled.
  15. True, but I'd still go the way of the CYMA, as they now do a version with wood grips. Also, the CYMA has a matte finish, which I find very appealing - almost as good as the Unicorn's blued steel finish. The DBOYS has a horrid shiny finish which I find repulsive, and I'd rather not strip and repaint it right out of the box.
  16. Dboys for externals, CYMA for internals.
  17. Yes. You are all wrong, the ELCAN is a proven sexmaker.
  18. Not me, but a friend with the CYMA AKs74u I built him: ELCAN makes everything sexy. Black AKs and MC suprisingly nice. Apparently he actually used the ICS AK74m as a backup to the CYMA, cos the AKs74u is much handier in tight spaces, of which the field was abundant.
  19. 1) Yes, Metal bushings, and the GB is much better than the DBoys. 2) 6.04mm tightbore as stock. 3) The hop-up unit is perfectly fine. However you may want to change the hop-up rubber, as the stock one is perhaps a little soft for the 380fps it puts out.
  20. KSC M9 with M93R outterbarrel, nice. If the KSC had more parts available (read: mags that aren't retardedly expensive) I'd get a pair.
  21. I love destroying pistons. The looks people give you as you laugh insanely after your gun hits 60 rounds a second - 3600rpm - and continue cackling as your piston disintegrates... It's brilliant.
  22. Nice, FarEast, but ditch the ACOG and get an ELCAN on that thing, right now. ELCAN + Anything = Ungodly Epic Wintasticalness. ACOG + Anything other than *generic Americanski assault rifle* = Epic Phails.
  23. Buhh huhhuhuhuhuh uhrhhrhrhrhrhrhrrhrhrhrhrhr. Brain fail'd to work for a while, sorry.
  24. That's a Standard. There are now two versions of the CYMA AKs74u: Plastic grips Wood grips
