  1. Two very beautiful pieces. The first one would have been acceivable with a freedom art frame from the former popular G26 Expert kit in action. I would have loved to get one of the last pieces myselft. But too slow, so probably I'll never get such a beauty. And the od one look very classy and elegant anyway, though I don't fency the 34-version very much … too big a hole in the top of the slide.
  2. Not exactly but somehow right. It by the way is the original Koba grip that was also available for Marui Hicapas before for quite some bucks. And a kimber style rail which of course makes it look very tactical and 1911 like. I also thought about trying this thing. Because it looks really rat … and if it performs well, what KJ by now should know how to accomplish, seems a good deal for skirms. I'd love to see some WA Paras again. Seem to be quite rare these days. And are there still some MEU first versions out there with the standard high profile sights?
  3. Well, GSR isn't exactly the most popular and issued handgun. But to mix a Sig with 1911 design and a bid sig-like quarish slide has something to it. Definitely a nice pick. WA isn't compatible with Marui. Different systems, different parts. For basic gun with good quality and reliable performance I think Marui is the best choice with quality and price. And if you wish to upgrade someday Marui is the perfect basis. There's almost everything available, to make it a Kimber and maybe a GSR, if some brand comes up with a metal kit. You can upgrade with a WA, too, but costs will be above
  4. Very nice the Colt. Here the two pictures to the requests from page 43: 1911 with Pachmayr original grips (original without lion medal) WA Kimber Warrior (with orginal Pachmayrs including lion medal) I'd recommend a Marui 1911 with Kimber Metal Kit (Warrior, Swat Custom II …) or the WA standard ABS version. Very good guns, worth the price. WA full metal: insanely costintensive
  5. Completely different designs, to destroy any hopes …
  6. Seeing them I could start bitching all night long … you have them, all together nicely in a suitcase. Damn it. Very nice those sport shooting special 1911 editions by WA. S&W is very nice, too.
  7. amazing piece of custom work, wwjkc.
  8. By the way: Everyone interested in a hard shell/Kydex holster for Fiveseven. At the moment I know three options: • Blackhawk Serpa (own it myself, nice fit for the Marui 5-7) • Blade-tech Duty holster • and recently found: Fobus Roto (so as flexible and attachable system as Serpa) http://www.extremesportinggear.com/gs45647.html Haven't checked on Safariland yet, but they also should offer holsters for the USG. And as Fobus offers holsters for USG so should the new IMI Defense holster line (Fobus with Serpa like trigger savety system: http://www.imidefense.com/). So quite som
  9. The holster versions for Kimber Warrior, Springfield Operator and other railed 1911 models wouldn't work because the adapter gives the roundly shaped 1911 triggerguard a squared Hicapa/STI/Infinity shape. Only chance I see is a Safariland model for STI/Infinity. Safariland has it in the product line, but hard to get. And I'm not quite convinced, the adaptive rail is slim enough to equal a squared fram of a Infinity. I thing it is a bit more bold and might cause fitting problems. 1911 + rail attachment = bad combo for weapon specific molded holsters.
  10. How sweet … haven't seen a old version MEU for a long time. Beautiful … for me the best looking variant of the bunch at the moment with most individual character. Just good old style I have to admit I envy you for that beauty.
  11. Damn, why had I to buy only the slide? Just should have invested in a complete gun and import it …
  12. Racing Maniac, very nice pictures, did you get it fully installed or did you put it together yourself based on a 2340 or 2009? Looks like the preinstalled though, if not, excellent work. If you don't want it anymore, give me a personal message about I have the Delta Slide here but can't get my hands on a propper 2340.
  13. Very nice MBT from PGC. Hard to fit or rather easy?
  14. Adressing Hicapa with Kimber-Slide … I don't like the Guarder stuff, because they just engrave their standard edgy Hicapa slides with markings. I like the smooth round shape of a classic 1911-slide design. But it looks nice, beautiful pistol anyway … I definitely don't like the strategy of WE with making their two standard 1911s (classic 1911A1 and 1911 tactical) just a Wilson Combat or currently so Novak next model. They are so inaccurate, Wilson is quite ok, but the Novak one is definitely a joke. The grips are perfect and a smart move, but the sights are ridiculous, those in no way can
  15. Nice one, maybe a bit darker and less reddish grips might suite the overall looks better.
  16. Well, it seems this Marui will not fit in any standard kydex or form holster molded for railed 1911s. The rail seems to have significantly more mass than standard railed frames like Warrior, Springield Operator … maybe someone can test out by chance. A pitty they decided to drill those holes, as you can see on the picture. Otherwise it would have been perfect base to to a desert frame 1911 custom project with all elements and parts already on and just fitting a slide.
  17. Let me guess … could it be you are a HK fan? Very nice equiment and way of storage.
  18. Nice picture. But I clearly don't understand why Marui had to drill holes in the 1911 frame to fit this big *albatross* ugly screwed together rail on it. Ok, you get the Kimber look with the way, the rail is cut. But still, not the best option … for those, who like the Marui 4.3 Warrior the way it is, it might be a perfect nice little gun.
  19. The only real choice for a MEU is a Surefire 310R. Very nice. Well I was the first to search for a 310R but noone heard my need for this thing. Good luck, guys. LAPD SWAT also used those on the first Kimber versions. By now, I heard they switched to the railed version with attachable taclight. But nothing konfirmed. Very nice pictures and GBBs, trdsupragt
  20. Damn, Why they had to do this strange Rail solution with screws and holes in the frame? I don't mind Marui putting a 4.3 slide on top, because that can be changed easily … I just wanted the frame … but now no more … pitty … it seems I have to go back to the Koba OD Fiber frame for my project.
  21. Nice Wilson CQB, Lerch. The old one or the actual reintroduced Magna version?
  22. god damn it … how can you dare to post such … such … a … thing … now (where's the non stop crying icon!) Very nice, only grips no good, light covers L.A. Vickers Custom markings … what a shame. But as long as you have a R310 … who cares … setup is so nice. I's love to have such a surefire myself. Dams
