  1. I drilled and tapped mine with M5 bolts, and loctited them in. Its very hard to get it even. Very beautiful Kronic.
  2. Thanks for the "props" elrey. That RPK is simply amazing Marlowe. I love the foregrips.
  3. If you're talking about mine, its a CAW wood kit made for the Spetz.
  4. The G&P metal reciever and front end set are great. Good weight, solid feel. My only minor gripe is the noticable line where the two halves of the front end are put together. Its not noticeable unless you stare. Lol. They also have a flat black coating that appears baked on, and very close to the finish of my Romanian AK. The added touch of raised "rivets" is also very nice. My verdict: I'd give them a 9.7/10. For the gas tube, outer barrel, and sight post I used Ultra-Flat Black Krylon "had it laying around." I light sanded it with 220 and then added 2 coats of Krylon. Its holding u
  5. Hhmmm...I'd have to sit down and figure it out. With all the parts, internals, and the gun itself, the AK47 fullstock cost me about $725, not counting labor. So, it wouldn't be cheap.
  6. Realsteel stocks are a pain in the *ss to mod enough to fit airsoft guns. In order to get the Romanian laminated wood to fit the G&P metal body, I had to burn off the "square" piece the sticks out of the back of the reciever. The stock fits on their nice and tight, and is stiff and strong as steel. I am in no way worried about the stock snapping off the reciever. If you have access to an endmill, and know your way around a shop, its not impossible. Just a note though: To anyone planning to drill/mill laminated wood stocks, it is tough as nails. Even at a slow feed rate and high RPMs, it
  7. Sounds good to me. All I have left to do is stamp some IZH trades on it.
  8. I'm quite jealous of your guns too. Thanks.
  9. Thanks guys. P.S. I'm sending those pics out right now.
  10. Awesome pics as always Swissknife. My newest project: TM AK47, G&P Metal body, G&P Metal front end, Guarder Cylinder Enhancement Set (Stainless Cylinder Head, Air Seal Nozzle, Aluminum Ventilation Piston Head, Chromium Plated Cylinder, Polycarbonate Piston), PDI 15*% spring, Systema Metal spring guide (with ball bearings), (Systema) Area 1000 Metal Bushings, KM Tightbore barrel, 9.6V 600mAh NiCD battery. "Real steel" Bulgarian AKM side scope mount, Real AKM slant muzzle break, Romanian O.D. braided sling, Real Romanian wood foregrip and stock, Nortia Enterprises custom '74 sty
  11. Thanks for all the compliments guys. I knew this crowd would appreciate it. The official Phoenix stamp of approval...I feel special. Lol. jak: That AK is actually my back-up AK. I should have some pics of my fullstock AK47 project up within a couple days (G&P metal receiver/front end, real Romanian wood stock set, real side scope mount, '74 style grip), as the wood stain is still drying.
  12. Thanks! I get a lot of "WTF" looks. People get confused when you add Fleck, MOLLE, and AKs it seems.
  13. A quick pic before yesterdays game. "I was in the staging zone, thats why theres no mag or eye safety"
