With the Ares tavor out and athe tsi upcoming and pictures of a possible micro tavor floating around we might as well have a tavor thread

as far as i was aware ares is the oem producer for star? e.g they are the same product for the stock we have received at the shop its the same product different sticker only difference, there is no difference in quality as they are same product, is anythign ares have started to fix a few of the problems the star product had

does the ares mars use the same connection method as the realsteel? if so replacing the site with the upcoming TSI version could always be an option, also would be nice to be able to use the ris mount system for acogs at some point

very easy to fit, only issue i had was i had to replace the magazine release catch with the dboys version as the vfc one is a bit to short for the mags the sit a little low, the mags are designed for dboys, normally you have to file the mag release down to fit most normal aeg mags, opposite is true this way around

this may seem like a strange question but has anyone had any problems removing the elector switch form a vfc ak74m and ak105, im having a problem removing the cap

can not talk for the dboys out the fake pins easily popped out on the vfc receiver with the use of a punch and a pin hammer, just remove the smaller pins first as they have no lips, then you can just pop the punch thought the holes these pins leave once removed

no modification to the receiver so far, only modification i've had to do is tap one thread and remove about 15mm from the front section to accommodate the hop up unit, will post a picture of this when i get a chance
